Best to purchase a quality PH meter and test your soil to determine the correct PH.
Should be somewhere around 6.5, as 7.0 is considered neutral.
My experience is that without an acid neutralizing amendment such as agricultural lime, the soil will go acid, at which point the leaves will drift toward a pale avacado green. More fertilizer will only tend to kill it faster, not to mention the risk of overwatering as you desperately try to feed it back to health.
If the plant is struggling it may need repotting. Avoid excessive light, lest the plant become driven to exhaustion.
