definitely some fungus.. can see it clearly in your nice pics provided. if it's on the substrate and not spreading to the plant, that's a sign it's not a type of fungus that can grow on this plant. When you can see it and it has multiple colonies, it's alreaddy airborne at that point in most cases. Spritz it with some 3% h2o2 if you want. coulda come in teh package fromt eh store, could be exacerbated by poor watering habits. you want 2:1 cooc to perlite mix.. or similar additive. pure coco does hold lesss water than soil, but still not quite optimal gas levels alone. also, while the chunky coir is okay, might be better with some more broken down stuff that still has good fibrous qualities to it. the rootzone will be happier. anywway.. watering habits.. let top layer turn color before re-irrigating. allow a good wet-dry cycle to occur. If the plant is too small for the pot it is in, it's just gonna be wet up top for long periods of time and you'll continually see this or even algea as a result. sometimes this is simply due to a seelding being samlla nd can happen in a little 2" pot too, but you have a very small plant in a relatively large pot. it probably stays wet for 7-10days. that's too long.

Nothing crazy, Have had this before it does not harm the plant, its either a bit of fungus growing on top of the coir or mineral buildup crystallizing on it. I'm leaning towards fungus based on its structure in the macro shots. Keep the medium less wet and it will fizzle out on its own. ....[][][].... Good Luck!
