You can trim the big fan leaves that are blocking light to maximize the light penetration on every buds sites but don't trim too much , the goal is to trim enough to let the light get in but not enough to stress the plant. To remove the leaves you can cut with scissors or you can just pluck it away by pulling down the leaves or you can push down the petiols ( leaves stems ) with your thumb. I don't feel like there is a wrong way to LST, there are bad moments to do it ( too late when the stems aren't flexible enough or too early when the plant Is too small to have an efficient LST )

As your plants still quite small, I don't recommend taking any leaves off, I would start thinking about removing leaves when you see your first sign of pistils and after the flowering stretch (only if needed). You've started the first step of lst already, now all you need to do is keep tying them down as they get taller. 🌱😁👍

Hello brother, do not leave his leaves but his main-ling and no more water at 2 3days 100-150mm and ph for 6.3-6.5 max. Your plants young enough to start making a perfectly even canopy through LST and defoliation. Good luck with the training choices and happy growing ✌️
