Rockwool is a perfect tool to use for germinating and cloning. I agree that its best used in a hydro setup. Cheers.

hi, I've always germinated my seeds in wet paper and then transplanted to soil with 100% germination rate. I use to put my seeds in paper inside a little case and an hand warmer on it and place it inside my guardrobe under some shirts, usually after two days they are ready to go :) I don't like other ways I think it is the best and simpliest

I use rockwool all the time.. It's great for hydro :). It is a very fibrous material, I wrap it in plastic and keep it in plastic when ripping it apart. Make sure to tell the grower in question to Soak them in water for 24 hours before using.
