It could be 2 reasons: 1. chelated minerals, sometimes minerals dont mix well together and cause this to gel substance to happen, you will need to make sure there are no foul smells. I would change the DWC nutrients with less minerals maybe .25 ml/L. 2. rockwool rot, "Rotwool" from overwatering the rockwool, you will smell a noticeable foul smell. If you DO smell a stinky or rotten smell, its time to start over with new seed. Most likely chelated, or gelled minerals if there is no stink smell.

That's what I'd call a gelling my friend. You have to be very careful when mixing nutrients. You fill the whole bucket up and then apply nutrients pre mixed with some water not pure to minimise gelling. Different brands of nutrients don't work well together or even in some cases sellers warn you to be careful when mixing nutrients together. Redo. This time. Use less. And add 1/3 at a time, or make up a few 500ml test bottles and see what different gel together. I'm 99% sure that's your issue Good luck bro
