yeah think this is climate or root zone... looks dry AF.
is this coco? if so, you are letting it dry too much. Early on i wait for the very top, superficial layer to start turning color (lighter brown), while others will pre-empt that a bit. Early on i like my roots reaching for water more and will increase frequency later on as i get into flower. Always water entire pot.. do not leave dry pockets -- if soilless, get a 10% runoff religiously. If soil, a little runoff merely ensures you got the whole thing wet. No half-ass watering as that promotes superficial roots and dry pockets inside the substrate, where it should remain moist the longest, and not be dry the fastest. Roots grow toward greater moisture. how often you add fertilizer for soil context depends on concentration of fertilizer.
the dosage for each fertilizer brand is not very useful information unless you expect the person reading to do the work calculating ppms or some weighted average of percentages for each nutrient.. it's not apples to apples otherwise and just some esoteric info you can learn from and someone who uses that exact product can understand but no one else is innately familiar with it. forgot to say for soil, wait for top 1" to dry before repeating. Higher water-capacity mediums should wait longer. Weight of the pot is the best trigger, for what it is worth. This directly correlates to water drunk by the plant.
Tracking it is useful, but if oyu want help from others, track it in an oranges to oranges way... ppms or weighted average relative to total dose added of the %'s per nutrient molecule needed - n/p/k/ca/mg/s. It helps diagnose nutrient related problems.
if your watering habits deviate from what was explained above, fix that first, then re-assess.
