People say that pinching it off closes the veins while cutting them leaves the veins open, but truth is the plant will heal up fast either way. Not going to be any difference either way. Cut them or pinch them. Whatever you prefer.

I pinch my Plants because of having my " tools" with me.....and sometimes i take asmall scissor . but only if i cant reach in the place with my fingernails.
So i do it because of having my tools always on my fingers and dont have to search it.

Sure, most people do not have a fiskars on hand or one at all. I'm sure some people could argue that unless you regularly clean your tools, you could infect your plant.

lol I love DoctorPhilgood's comment... Here's where some old school grower usually chimes in and "Iv'e grown hundreds of plant and always clip with my finger nails and never had a problem".

umm no.. I don't like to use my hands cause I feel like that's just extra chance of contamination/bacteria. If you wanna use your hands that's your choice. Generally I like to use the same pair of Fiskars and I will clean them with isopropyl in between uses.. I hope this helps and happy growing.

Its almost day 5 after emergence. Is this normal? Should I be concerned?
ALSO: It's still a seedling but, I maybe think the cup in which i'm growing it in is too small, or rather I put too little soil (9cm diameter , 4cm tall dirt).

1st time grower need advice and need to make sure my plants doing good.My plant strain is blue dream fast photoperiod by seedsman. I use foxfarm soil foxfarm nutrients and my ph stays between 6.5 - 6.8. my humidity is 36-40 percent. My temp is 65-70 F. I run a marshydro ts- 600 led. My grow is 2 1/2 weeks into flower.

First Grow 4 weeks into Veg - Let my humidity get too high for 1 night. Need help with mold/septoria/?Last 3 days I've pruned diseased leaves every morning, foliar sprayed peroxide leaves & topsoil, & added some to watering solution. Is only affecting one plant in tent. Humidity no longer issue (was waiting 4 inline fan). If I keep pulling off leaves it's going to die anyway.

3 days in, only cotydelons with no sign of the first true leaves. Have you seen this and has it recovered?This plant was stunted at the start after he couldn't get his hat off, but now looks pretty healthy however it's been 3 days of just cotydelons and absolutely no sign of the first true leaves. Have you had this before and did it recover to eventually grow true leaves?

Remove leaves from auto?Should I remove fan leaves from my auto flower? I wonder since it is so crowded, I worry a bit that the leaves are pressing against the buds. But maybe that isn't a problem? I've read that removing leaves is unnecessary and stressful for the plant.
