Best unit for cooling a tent when the general area and outside is hot

Hi buddy Pulling in fresh air is not just for temp control it also give the plants muched needed fresh oxygen supply to the root zone and to the plant itself. further to this it can be quite hot when the air your pulling through is not actually cold this can create a lot of problems for indoor growers I am going through a spate of hot weather in the UK my temps are getting up to the high 30s some days. The only way I can think of is purchasing a air con unit and using it in the grow room as if you lower the temp of the room you will lower the temp of the tents too.you can also hook up an air con unit to the tent itself you can get attachments for aircon units that will direct the cold air to a certain place for you. Air movement fans will just move air around they don't do a very good job of cooling anything really in my opinion. I myself will be buying an aircon unit as the hot weather effects my room temp which in turns effects my nutrient reservoir and plants do not like really hot water for feed lol. other than this the only other way and the most effective and cost efficient in my opinion is to upgrade your extractor fan getting slight negative pressure in your grow tent will ensure that the hot humid air is leaving the tent faster than fresh air in entering the tent this is just one tool you also need to find a place to dispel hot air if your blowing it into the same room your temp problems will persist I advise making or finding a place in the roof or outside to vent the hot air out too if your in a rental you can always make good any holes you make before you hand the place back :) best of luck anyway buddy hope this helps

I saw your Diary, aint that 4 fans enough? I Have same temperatures and i only use 1 10mm USB-Fan in veg to keep my plants cool. -Move the tent to another place in you house where you can constantly let fresh air in the room. -attach it to outside. OR: -Put your light higher, but with higher powerusage so the LUX ur plant recieve is same. This will give the heat more space. Also what people dont understand is, that modern LEDs heat is not proportional to their power. Once the light is on no matter if 25% or 100% it produces a lot heat, dimming doesnt have a strong effect on that. So hanging a dimmed light low can burn your plants.

Where are you venting your exhaust? If you're not removing it from the room your tent is located I expect that's the problem. I vent my tent outside through the flue and my tent temps are only a few degrees higher than the ambient temps inside the house. When you don't fully vent exhaust it's kinda like the recirculate option for your car AC(but with heat instead). You're reusing the same air so it's getting hotter and hotter.

They make small ac units you can place in the same room as the grow tent. I'm sure you can find a decent priced one on Amazon or at Walmart. I personally just turn down the ac of my apartment a few extra degrees.( witch is not always applicable in a larger setting)

Take hot air out to other premises , than you bring air in. Any cooling station will use grow space, 23 is decent add up, just increase intake and sort were to put hot air.

Servus ✌️ A connection to the outside would be the most effective system. U need to get rid of the hot air inside the tent. It doesn't bring u any advantage if you bring air into the tent. Wrong logic! Good luck, have a good one!
