Molasses is not ghetto science. Unless Harley Smith is a ghetto scientist. I kind of trust what he says about it. It's not to feed the plant. It's to feed the microbes last few weeks of flower because the plant stores most of its sugars in the tissues of the plant as it ripens. He's 100 percent right about everything else. Pure protein is a good source of those. and down-to-earth granular humic acid is a cheap option. you do not need to worry about nutrients in your water for a few weeks. Some things that will help seedlings along are not overwatering, and letting the roots stretch for moisture. and if you want to give them something coconut water and liquid kelp will help them without too much risk of harming them by overfeeding. Young plants need a lot of phosphorus because they are growing more roots than they are foliage. A steady dose of calcium throughout the life of the plant is important. Even though I grow organic in big pots with fairly "hot" soil I still use cal-mag after week 4 or so.

Forget molasses, it is ghetto science! To do something beneficial that actually does something, give them fulvic acid, humic acid or amino acids. If they are in quality soil, you should not have to feed them for at least 3, maybe 4 weeks. Otherwise wait until there are at least 5-6 nodes before starting with half strength nutrients. Remember, it is very, very easy to fix a slight under feeding, but very, very hard to rescue a burned and damaged over fed plant.

depends on a few things. Whats you medium, soil vs hydro, does it have any slow release or amendments in it? If not need to feed day one. Soil is almost always good for at least a week or two. I find Molasses creates pests for me indoors and molds. I try and avoid it and only give end of flower.

If you're using organic nutrients. I'd advise getting a jump with it now actually in a very small amount. If you're using molasses give now. Start with low feeds. If you've loaded soil keep the feeds VERY low. If they're organic its best to get it going ASAP in some fashion. 100% add an enzymes as it helps PH around the roots and breaks down dead matter etc. A root stim also you can Add right away. It's soil so any bacteria is beneficial. Synthetic nutrients with nutrient rich soil. I'd wait and start in a few weeks. Feel free to DM me with a bit of context. If you need more insight. But, what'd above is pretty typical and should be on the soil & nutrients you have. Good luck

depends on how hot the soil is. Some options don't need to be fertilized for 6-8 weeks. if not familiar with the products it's a matter of trial and error. too many variables to give specific instructions. observe plant and when you see hints of deficiency start with a low-dose. take not of the timing and next cycle start fertilizing slightly sooner to avoid any deficiency. The plant will suck down and shed the cotys at any hint of low nute level in the soil, but doesn't mean you need full strength immediately. Depending on how strong instructed dose is you probably want to start at 1/4 - 1/2 strength. It's always easier to amp up and much more difficult to correct an overfeed. trust what you see. should really start with smaller pots. this will make watering/fertigating even more difficult. Root development will be less than optimal starting in a huge pot relative to plant size, too. molasses feed microbes. 1tbsp/gallon is something i recall reading.

I don't know about molasses but nutrients can be manually added when the plant has 2-3 layers of leaves (I forget the exact terminology. It has something to do with node count) You'd have to see your specific nutrient's recommendations for exact advice.

Why molases ??? I think its same "bro science " as neem oil, flush, HST with autos, darkness before chop and etc. Too many ways to use, too many certain situations needed and now documented and compared results done.... Buy mycorrhizae , that will help 4sure. Feed sugar to those bacterias, but branded bottles. Each line has sugar additive, they are pricey ussually, but worth every penny at the end.
