Has anyone used a Hortilux Blue: 1000 Watt Metal Halide Grow Light through their entire grow? Are the price worth it? Color Temperature 5500K

I have never used that exact bulb. 20 years ago i did a grow from start to finish with Metal Halide. I found the buds were airy and fluffy not tight and dense. Hope that helps.

change the bulb.. Use red spectrum for flowering.. makes a dramatic difference on your return..

Lux Meter Apps on Smartphones What are your thoughts on Lux meter apps? The app on my Samsung Galaxy S10+ is showing 16,600 Lux at the tops of the seedlings, and converting that to a rough PPFD shows 222.55/umol/s/m². Reading more, 15k-45k Lux and 200-400 PPFD is good for early veg. What are your thoughts?

I don't really know when to switch the veg light to the bloom one... the manufacter manual says to turn on both lights in pre-flower stage. What do u guys think? I also lowered the light (200w output) from 67 cm to 60, is it ok? (LED Viparspectra V 450)

light schedule change I wanna change light schedule for my babies.. for now they run from 07 to 24 hours and I want to run from 18 to 12 hours so I would have dark period during day.. should I just leave it to run for 30 hours and then introduce new "night" time??
