While you can use waht the breeder says to plan, you always observe and react to the plant at hand. IT's not necessarily incompetence, just genetic variety -- They are less likely to lie about a long flower phase than a short one, too. Not all are shady like that, but they do exist.
No worries, the close up shows lots of long hairs and unplump calyxes. You have lots of time left... or, maybe that's not idea, but it's probably closer to the breeder's guesstimate than you think. You may even have more than 2 weeks left. I find once it is fully plumped, it still takes 7-14 days beyond that to see 'enough' amber, and I have an early window harvest preference.
