My plant (quick one auto flower) by royal queen seeds by their guide a 70 day from seed genetic, I am at day #57 but she is whispy with little to no weight in her buds but she has a lot of pistols turning brown and also by RQS guide she should be fine in 13 days? What’s going on

the last 10 days of flower is the time where the plant put weight, dont guide by what brand say at that subjet, many factors could put extra time.

Jewelry loupe is the best way to tell when to harvest. Not all plants grow big dense buds also size of buds have a lot to do with how much light you use during flower aswell. I suggest trying different genetics next time

At least another 2 weeks, maybe even 3. Breeders times are guesstimates, not hard and fast rules.

Flowering times from Breeders are more suggestions than fixed numbers you can work with... In this case, the suggestion seems on point, just give her the last 2 weeks and enjoy. Also, Pistils are not super indicative, you got to watch the trichomes.

While you can use waht the breeder says to plan, you always observe and react to the plant at hand. IT's not necessarily incompetence, just genetic variety -- They are less likely to lie about a long flower phase than a short one, too. Not all are shady like that, but they do exist. No worries, the close up shows lots of long hairs and unplump calyxes. You have lots of time left... or, maybe that's not idea, but it's probably closer to the breeder's guesstimate than you think. You may even have more than 2 weeks left. I find once it is fully plumped, it still takes 7-14 days beyond that to see 'enough' amber, and I have an early window harvest preference.

alot can happen in almost 2 weeks. some genetics or environment will produce smaller or whispier buds. Find a way to check the trichomes and that is your best bet on knowing when your plants are done. Best of luck. you can message me for any other detailed questions

Plants are just like people, individuals. Most seeds sold by vendors are going to be F1s. It is kind of an unusual spot to be in because most cannabis seeds are F1s but at the same time new F1 hybrids are implying a clear distinction in that they follow traditional big agriculture paths (like going into S generations 3/4/5 deep on each side, then F1 hybriding those - resulting in F1 hybrids developed much like soy/corn/etc.). Those types of F1 hybrids will have less distinction but still will be individuals. Run-of-the-mill F1s have a ton of variation in them. If you want to follow a breeder's recommendation then you should purchase S1s that they have grown and measured metrics for themselves. Unless you have a clone or a clone-in-a-seed via S generation seeds, then you're working with averages and thresholds for a population while having a member of said population. Your member of that population may blend right into the averages and thresholds for the population, then again it may not. If I tell you that the average bank account on your street has a few million dollars in it, that metric means little when I select an individual from the street - they may or may not have a few million in their account. To me looks like a little swellign to come, otherwise she is going well. I agree a lot of pistils are brown but there are so many reasons that could be, anjd not all are problems. It is not like she looks unhealthy for where you are.
