They both give you everything a seedling needs to germinate and feed, before putting in perm soil.
Try not to use regular soil, as it may be too rich/hot for the seed/seedling. IMO, Fox Farm Ocean Forest is like acid to a seed.
What you may consider, and I do this for my permanent soil, is mix 3:1 FF OF and Light Warrior. It helps buffer the soil a little bit, while the seedling grows out into vegetative state, and it opens the soil up a little more, to reduce soil compaction (aids in drainage), during the full grow.
TIP: Most quality soils have enough micronutrients, to eliminate any need for feeding, for at least 30 days of active growing.
