Is it only after watering? Normal watering habits should never cause this. It's a matter of how the medium is constituted. You need more perlite or similar to prevent this from happening. I prefer vermiculite, but there are options.
A heavy soil should have 50% perlite or similar. If it has a lower water capacity base, like coco coir, it needs about 33%. Both come out to a similar water capacity.
proper irrigation (just in case)
1) fully saturate, do not whimsically choose a volume to give. No leeway in step 1.
2) wait for appropriate dryback. Again, not something you whimsically choose. When it dries 'enough' you react and irrigate. A heavy soil you may wait for top 1" to dry, whereas something like coco coir you re-irrigate when the top starts to change color. There is some leeway in this, but some minimum is required to avoid elevated risk of root zone issues.
don't over-think watering. You use as much as it takes to accomlish the task and you react to an observation to re-irrigate.
There's not much you can do about it this grow cycle. In future, use more perlite or similar to create a better gas:water mixture in the pot. If roots are over saturated, the plant will droop. This is not from pouring too much water, it's from a lack of O2 in the medium.
