I stick my plugs straight into a hole in the soil and cover up like normal. Never had a problem. I've used rockwool, root riots, & jiffy pellets. Now I just fill seed trays with coco coir and press it in. Way cheaper.

StretchingBecause my seedling stretched a little during her first few days of life, is it safe to bury a small amount of her stem in the substrate when I transplant in a week or two? I'm using coco and perlite 70/30. Actually writing this down made me realize it's probably a stupid idea 🤣Week 1

Slow/stunted seedling, why?One seedling is stunted, why?
One of the seedlings is noticeably slower than the other, it’s leaves are curled under and there’s a brown spot on one of its Cotyledons.
