This is my first photo. I started topping on Sunday and wanted to ask when the best time for that would be. I would like to bend the main stems with clips. Or how would you do it?

Hi OrionGrowgul We top most plants after the second shoot, so we start with four shoots. It depends a bit on where you want to go. If you're planning a longer growth phase, you can also top them later. For bending the plant shoots down, we recommend a sturdier, slightly more stable plant wire. You can see it in our two current Skywalker OC and Sour Jealousy Growdiaries. Hope we could help. :-)

What bunch of numbers said is spot on, depends on your end goal and environment, usually 8-10 mains is the sweet spot. Have a good one growmie ✌️ ♥️

Exactly what numbers said, depends on your end goal, topping and clips is a good statergy then just go ahead and top this branches if needing more colas.

Better to wrok backward from a target canopy. How many colas do you want? Then, you can figure out the most efficient way to get there. I'd start with 2-3 pair of branches, not including the lowest set. Then try to top as eveneldy as possible to get to the number of colas you want. ~3 colas per sq ft is all you need to maximize yield.

slow growth what time does i need to change schedule for flowering? im running in a closet 3 plant. 2 of them are autoflower seeds and the other 1 are photoperiod. i would like to give them 2weeks more in vegetating states before switching to flowering. is it okay to do so?

LST Question for next grow!Hey guys do you think that this much lst is needed for an autoflower? It has 20+ tops and some more lower ones that I defoliated for the light to reach. Just asking for next grows,does it really up the yield if you have more tops or I could have the same yields with 10 tops max.

Snapped a branch. How worried should I be?Snapped the main stem during LST, right below the main cola on SLH(just starting flower). Braced it with ducktape and propped it with some bamboo.
