4x4 tent in 8x8 room. Exhaust?

KindSir

Im wondering if I would get enough fresh air exhausting the 4x4 grow tent into the 8x8 room that its in, since I plan on keeping the door to this room shut. I open it at least once a day. Do you think that's enough space to not have to worry about exhausting it into another room?

Sorry I wasn't more clear, but I'm not worried about heat or humidity, those things are dialed in with the LED and the grow is functioning good. There's no ventilation in the "lung room", but circulation in the grow tent and exhausting the tent into the lung room. I'm just asking if there's enough fresh co2 surrounding the tent if I keep the door to the 8x8 room closed. I've kept the door closed so far opening at least once a day, just curious if it's really getting enough fresh air. Thanks for the help!

Not a lot of info there , is the room ventilated, A/C ? If so should be fine cant think of anything long as the CO2 is refreshed.

I think you are going to need to experiment a bit as ventilation control and design is highly subjective to every variable in the room. My first thought is depending on the lighting you're using in your grow and ventilation of the room, not tent just yet, you may run into heat issues. The more air movement you have will raise the internal temp as air changes will inevitably pull air over hot lights and fans several time in an isolated room. However, that is assuming that this is a sealed up room with no vents or air returns. Other low-hanging-fruit are: humidity, smell, how many plants can this handle, and the inevitable 'this is a good place for my bike, winter clothing, extra stuff...' Try a grow with a plant and really monitor the room. Good hunting!
