My plants are doing well. I would like to add another net to support the buds as they expand. I this ok to do at this stage of flower? I have also added Top Booster to the mix i will be adding Top shooter as well for the last weeks of flower. Should i defoliate at this stage?

Go ahead and add another net, more support will not harm anyway. I would not recommend defoliation at this stage, it is kind of late for that.

Hello @Brent4567 ! Yes you can defoliate at this stage. The point of defoliation is to achieve light penetration, air movement and reduce the waste of plants energy at the lower leaves. So yes you can defoliate. More light penetration will give you more photosynthesis. More air movement will also give you more photosynthesis as the co2 would be able to move better around the canopy and it will reduce the risk of mold (especially at these big colas). Adding another net will not stress them by any means. It would be definitely beneficial to support those big colas but i think that a net is not very practical at this point. It would be more practical to use some yo-yos. At this point your buds are really gaining weight and if you support them you will give them confidence to get really big. Happy growing 👊

Hi @Brent4567! Another net could be useful if stems are weak / bending upon the bud’s weight, not sure if it’s necessary for you now. What you need is maximum light onto the bud sites, so defoliation is highly recommended! Keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊
