It's really interesting from using the Smart Proteins, i think how they work is that the plant is able to process them and compensate any kind of slight deficiency which means that each plant that gets the proteins is able to grow to it's maximum potential and at the same time grow to its **individual** potential... that's why each of these plants has so much "character", because if you look closely it's less a question of phenotype but more like "individual expression".... INTERESTING !!! Anyway that's about the visual... my main concern about these is how loud they f-ing smell !!! ITS PROBLEMATIC, so be conscious of that if you plant to grow these one day ! REALLY REALLY LOUD, honestly there should be an additional category on GD like "problematic" which is beyond the "strong smell" category. I have two large carbon filters on two 1330m3/h fans and it's a problem. Hope you understand how unusual that is for a plant in veg lol... I think the smart protein probably affects how strong the plants smell because all the plants seem more smelly than expected... TBH i'll fix the smell issue but hopefully it's a good sign and an indicator of the quality i can expect by harvest time? These also got two rounds of defoliation , and i flipped them to flower like 4 days ago. This was an exciting veg to me, but now is when it gets interesting, let's see how beautiful these flowers are !! Test genetics always have that little bit of mystery to them right? Im ersten Schritt habe ich nach der 3. Nodie die Pflanze getoppt. Des Weiteren habe ich die Triebe an der 1. Nodie entfernt. Später habe ich dann die 4 restlichen Triebe an der 2./3. Nodie ein weiteres mal getoppt.

Week 6 - Veg - her nutes have been upped to 2ml of grow, micro and bloom and feeding every 3rd day now.

In week 6 my HOMEBOX growtent has filled up so much, that I need to defoliate the plants. I take them out one by one and take off all lower branches (that dont get enough light) and all leaves of the lower part of the plant. I also take off most of the bigger fan-leaves of the top part of each plant, so the light can penetrate deeper into the canopy. I also add stakes and a plant-holder-ring to each pot, so the bigger plants are supported for better growth. You can see the difference in the BEFORE AND AFTER pics above. Two PURPS-plants from BC-BUD-Depot turned out to be male and have been discarded. Into one of the empty spots I put a small plant of BLUE MINT from Mountain High Seeds as replacement. The other spot stays empty. I simply put a tray into the open spot, so the water is not in the light and no algea grows in my autopot system. The watering via the Flexitank-reservoir works very well. Once a week I fill the reservoir with water mixed with BIO NOVA nutrients, following the SOIL-CULTIVATION schedule of BIO NOVA. Since the EC of my tap water is very high (comes out with EC=1,0 already) I can only add a lower amount of nutrients, therefore I use the BIO NOVA schedule at HALF strength. My babies LOVE the light from the EVO4-120 LED-fixtures from SANlight, they THRIVE under it! At this stage my two lamps are dimmed to 80% (=two green lights are ON, on the dimmer at side of lamp) and hang at a distance of 30 cm from the top of the plants. Now after the defoliation the airflow through the tent is much better and the light can also get to the lower parts of the plant. This way the flowering can continue with an enhanced grow of the buds.

23.08 The Drainmaster moved into the tent to control the drain. Defoliated and lollipopped them. 25.08 First run with the drain system. Nutrient Solution (Tank): Volume: 8.5 L EC: 3.05 pH: 5.5 Nutrients: Advanced Nutrients Micro/Grow/Bloom + CalMag Irrigation Run: Pump time: 30 minutes Total Drain: 5.0 L (≈ 60%) Drain EC: 2.6 Drain pH: 6.0 🔎 Observations Drain volume was far too high (target is ~20%). Drain EC lower than input EC → medium was relatively “empty”, plants absorbed nutrients quickly. pH drift from 5.5 → 6.0 shows some buffering effect left in the reused substrate, but limited. Substrate behaves more like coco than soil now (low buffer, fast response). 💡 Insight / Lesson Learned 30 minutes pump time is way too long → resulted in 60% runoff instead of 20%. For 8 × 1 L pots, a single irrigation event should be ~1.0–1.2 L total, with ~200–250 ml runoff. Solution: shorten pump time to ~5 minutes and re-test runoff. Better approach: run shorter, more frequent irrigations (daily) with a lower EC (2.0–2.2), instead of heavy feedings (EC 3.0) only 3× per week. This will keep EC more stable in the root zone and prevent salt buildup in the tiny 1 L pots. 27.08 Adjusted the pump timer to 5 minutes, gave the first dose of PK13/14.

Halfway through flush run off at 150ppm. Temps dropped down to a range of 65-73. Things are getting purple but had to trim a bud of cause of mould. Humidity has stayed 50-70% due to my poor exhaust but overall looking dank !

10/28 - Topped middle cola on both sides - tied down outside bigger stems - heavy nute feed - top feed of worm castings on to coco - Increasing nute feeds next week

Dec 12: Growth has been good, leafs started yellowing as I tried a regular watering as opposed to a feed, and they did not take well to it. I’ve read that it’s good to incorporate waterings between feeds, but 24hr later noticed a bit of yellowing on the lower section, 48hr post watering even more yellowing. Dec 18: Going with feed only and yellowing has halted, stretching has officially begun. No adverse effects from the short term nitrogen deficiency (that’s what I narrowed it down to). Playing with budsites to maintain an even canopy, and as soon as I see stretching halt, and fattening begin, I will up the bloom nutes. Dec 20:

El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 21/24 grados y la humedad ronda el 60%. Ir van creciendo y no llevan ni mal ritmo ni mal como, veremos como avanzan las próximas semanas. Defoliated the bottom 1/3rd of the plant to clear up some airflow

I will cut down my plants this week looks like the Moby Dick is ready and one of the blue amnesia is almost ready the other two most definitely needs more time but the blue amnesia is losing too many leaves because I'm having trouble flushing completely the soil for nutrients for this one and the other one (Moby Dick)was severely shocked in the beginning so until it runs completely yellow and affect the yield I decided to cut them down I just want to use my tent to dry because of smells and discretion.

Just cruising along the second week I water when dry and may be weird but I love playing music for them when I’m gone off to work and as you see we do have one that’s about a week ahead that’s GMO Cookies

As you can see, our macro lens arrived, we were able to take several photos and see the trichomes, we had never seen them so close before. We also noticed that many pistils have turned brown in the last days of this week but the trichomes are clear yet. The smell is getting stronger, reminds us of fresh fruits, mango and a little citrus. We are excited, she is healthy and smells good, but a little concerned with the development of buds and if they are within the standards for this week. Despite having many trichomes and the pistils turning brown, we are not noticing a significant fattening of the flowers (correct us if we are wrong). hahaha, noob stuff =)
