12/05/24 Short Facts: Watered: 1 x 3.0L, 1 x 2.8L, 1 x 3.2L, 1 x 3.0 โ€” Total: 12L VPD @ 1.4 Light @ 70% (~700 to 950 PPFD) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nothing special happened this week. Everything is fine, and the buds are getting bigger. The Blumat Digital Pro Plus is really helpful, making my watering spot-on. Great tool! Unfortunately, the macro lens and the microscopic lens I ordered for my phone didnโ€™t arrive this week, but Iโ€™m hopeful theyโ€™ll arrive in the coming days. Iโ€™ll probably upload a lot of cool pictures in the next report, so stay tuned!

Flowering Day 3: This lady has been continuing to impress with her fight to be top dog. Her flowering is well underway now and i am hopeful she will produce better than her mother. I fed her too much N as she was part of a res supplied feed that i couldnt lower for her finish as i still had too many that needed full strength. Seeing her structure after the quad has already given her a better chance of more mains and the node spacing is way better than her mom. The actual Flowers are a nice ball shape emerging from the tops too. These should hopefully become the baseball bats advertised in the sales patter ! Surely One of us on here will get a good pheno of this strain?????

Day 50 - The entire tent is now filled up. Humidity is slightly higher than ideal but she looks happy. Moved the fan a bit higher to get more top canopy air circulation. Day 51 - Keep on growin' Day 52 - Pot was pretty light and dried out this morning after a couple of windy warm days in my area. Watered the usual 2L with run off of 170ml (9%). After gaining 3.5cm per day over the last 3 days, she was getting a bit too close to the light. - I moved the light up with 13cm today to be 30cm above the top most flower. Day 53 - Run off today was only 150ml(7.5%). I did some bottom defoliation removing small flower branches and leaves coming to the end of life. This cleared up some of the bottom for better watering access and definitely better airflow. Day 54 - Humidity in my area has dropped a bit leaving the room around 47% and inside the tent around 52%. Still a bit high but with her being so big in the 2x2 I pretty much have to keep the tent open at all times. Installed a second fan today to increase ventilation and try lower humidity. I've got one blowing over the top canopy and one circles around off the walls. Day 55 - Had both fans running overnight, seems to have gone ok. I have each fan pointed at a wall now this seems to make for the best all over ventilation without too much direct blow on the plant. Day 56 - That's the end of Week 7! The flower stretch this week has been pretty crazy. After raising the light she's exploded in height. Run off was 120ml (6%) today - this might be because of the double fans drying her out a bit more but also her size of course needing more water.

Day 22 - She's doing okay! Had a minor PH issue the other day due to a cheap meter, which has been replaced. Her bottom first fan leaves are a tiny bit brown as a result. Her roots are clean and nice looking, thanks to the Hydroguard. She seems to be doing all around very well. Definitely have to check and adjust PH daily to keep her under control, however. Day 26 - So I moved her to a new, non-visible home. Not because of any failure of the visible setup, but because at one gallon, it was just plain too small. She was going through water so quickly that I was having to redo her whole tank every two days. Was becoming too much maintenance. If I can put together a three gallon clear setup I will move her over to it. That is the plan at least. If not, she'll be a bucket girl. She's doing well and thriving, so everything is cool on that front.

Beginning of week 10(veg): Wow the progress this week. Biggie smalls(Short one) really took off. I added my flowering LED light for these girls and they are loving it! I moved the girls into the flower tent for now. The ventilation inside my closet is horrible and I think Iโ€™m seeing white mildew spots on some leaves =( Now that theyโ€™ve been inside the grow tent for about 4 days I donโ€™t see any signs of the white spots, which is a relief. I defoliated biggie smalls yesterday, which made it so I could really see the branch structure underneath there. Iโ€™m really happy with what I see, some really good looking branches. They no longer need the ties, they seem to be growing how I want them to, and when they donโ€™t I give them a little bend to match the canopy height. Iโ€™m going on vacation in a month so I set purchased a drip system from amazon. After spending about 20 minute setting it up, and then painstakingly driving the stakes into the roots of my plants, I realized the product didnโ€™t actually work. Iโ€™ve purchased another pump and some hosing, weโ€™ll give this another go when it arrives. Iโ€™ll be feeding them again tomorrow. One more week of veg for Biggie Smalls and then sheโ€™s going for 2 days of darkness and flower. Really excited for that. Hopefully she continues the strong growth over the next week.

Fed the plants with Fox Farm veg nutes once this week. Still a bit early to sex them but only really concerned about the two that are growing the fastest. Hopefully be able to tell in a couple weeks. The plants that were topped for the second time are recovering well and echo new site has grown sets of leaves One of the autos started flowering and the second should start in the next 2-3 days. Did slight LST to the flowering auto to get more sun to the bud sites on the bottom.

June 7 - We ordered some new lights last week, they are 240w kingbrite samsung lm310h with uv/ir, 3000k, and meanwell drivers. We setup the new room and moved the girls into there. After a bit of LST and a watering (with nutrients) at roughly 7ph, they were ready to go under the 2 new lights and the same SF-1000 we have been using in this grow. The new room is a 12 ft enclosed trailer. I moved everything from the small tent into this. I put clear poly on the walls, floor and ceiling. I put poly on the shelf I am going to be keeping in there as well. I bought 50ft of 6mm mylar and lined the floors, roof and sides with it. I plan to get some reflective tape to seal everything and to cover the wood. I did not get much of a chance to watch temp's today as they it was later in the evening after all was said and done. The inline fan blowing in air from outside. June 8 - 9 AM i checked the plants, they were at 25.2 and 50% RH. Late through the day I had checked and we had gotten up to around 32 degrees. So I moved the inline fan to the closer vent, hooked up to that, and had the air blowing out of the trailer with the inline fan sucking it from above the lights. I then added oscillating fan and had it blowing air on the left side of the room so it would somewhat circulate once I closed the doors. I then checked at about 9pm and we were at 22 degrees. Definitely noticed a decent amount of growth already. I have the lights on a 22/2 cycle as I was worried about the heat at night time. June 9 - Some great growth from the girls, still having problems controlling the temps in the afternoon. I decided to prop the door open a bit to have a constant breeze throughout the day while I am at work. Decided to do some more LST and also a bit of defoliation. I took about 25% of the leaf's that were blocking the new growth as it was getting a bit bunched up. I was then told the leaf's are almost solar panels for them. So from now on I will be trying to just do some tucking unless needed. The leaf's I removed were most of the damaged leaf's, I am not to sure if that makes much of a difference. I gave them a watering with only water as there is a potential I am getting a bit of a nutrient buildup along with the PH problem. Or potentially the reason for the ph problem is nutrient buildup. After watering with A PH of 7 I got some run off and tested it. The smaller plant gave me a PH of about 5.5 where the bigger one is around 5.0. June 10 - Plants are looking happy and showing tons of growth. Seems to be trying to stretch outwards. Not a ton of sign of PH issues showing so potentially getting it under control. Still a bit of damage to previous leaf's but it is what it is! The last few days I have been leaving the door open a bit in order to keep the temps down. I decided to test something and turn the lights off (automatically) at 11AM and back on at 5PM so light schedule has now changed to 18/6 and it seems I may have figured out the issue. We haven't had lots of sun the last couple days so it hasn't been to hard and I have yet to know if it truly fixed the heat issue for now. (I will be looking into a ac unit as well since it typically gets to around 30-35 around here. June 11 - Pulled some of the branches back down and added a few more LST spots. Seems we have a good amount of growth from the smaller plant out of the 2 topped spots. Unfortunately it looks like I fucked up on the bigger plant and only one of the nodes seems to have new growth. I will continue to monitor that but I think I cut the node to low and also to soon. Other then that, the girls are doing great. They seem to be absolutely loving these new lights. I gave them some nutrient water today as well. roughly 3L each. They seem to be A hell of A lot more thirsty under these new lights. June 12 - The girls are doing great , they are still just doing growing away. Lots of progress everyday. I am going to be getting a go-pro so I can set-up a time-lapse for the rest of this grow. I received my new inline fan, I got A ac infinity CLOUDLINE T4 with the temperature humidity controller. I am going to be having one fan pushing fresh air in and one fan pulling out the hot air. I will be doing that tomorrow since I have to work today. June 13 - I ordered another 50ft of mylar and that showed up today. I have decided to remove the shelf and add another 3+ feet to the grow space. So today I installed more poly, mylar, the ac infinity fan. I have it set-up to pump in air if it gets to warm. I am thinking of switching it to the output that way if it gets to hot or to humid I can have that air pulled out of the trailer. Right now my other inline fan is the outtake and I just have it set on full. Overall I think everything is set-up a bit better and more accessible. I will be putting my 2x2 tent in there at the left of the doors so I can have a veg room when these 2 are in flower. I plan to have 4 in veg and 4 in flower for the next grow. Still waiting on JOTI seeds, ordered 3 weeks ago and still have not been shipped. I will be getting those going the moment they arrive. The girls seem to be happy still, did a bit more LST to try to keep everything even, mainly I'm just pulling down on the spots I already have tie wire on.

14.11.2025 Was going to close the diary today but as it doesn't smell anymore I decided to close the diary this coming Tuesday, smell shifted from chemical fish ammonia to cooked fish with the additional Citric acid I sprayed in, rest in video ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐ŸŸ๐Ÿ’€ FERMAKOR: The Dorade Incident โ€“ Spontaneous Batch Log (Because the fish came with guts, and I donโ€™t waste potential) --- ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ How It Started I ordered two big Dorades for dinner. Didnโ€™t bother ticking the โ€œcleanedโ€ box. They arrived whole โ€” full organs, eyes staring, one of them with a stomach packed with broken seashells (free CaCOโ‚ƒ bonus). So instead of complaining, I just said: โ€œAlright, fine. Dinner first. Hydrolysis later.โ€ --- โš—๏ธ Phase 1 โ€” The Gut Start (Day 1) Material: 160 g of fresh guts straight from the fish. KOH: 20 g (yep, strong ratio, I know). Water: ~250 mL warm. Dissolved KOH โ†’ poured over โ†’ stirred โ†’ left to liquefy. Within minutes it warmed up and foamed; by evening it was already turning into that deep brown, oil-slick mix I like. --- Phase 2 โ€” The Rest Goes In (Day 2) After dinner, all the remaining parts go into the same container: Heads, bones, fins, skin โ€” roughly 500โ€“600 g. Add another 30โ€“35 g KOH and ~0.5 L water. Stir and let it digest for a week or two or three, until smooth. The seashells stay in โ€” they buffer the pH and slowly release Ca and trace minerals. --- โš–๏ธ Phase 3 โ€” Neutralization Once the mix settles, Iโ€™ll neutralize down to pH 6.2โ€“6.4 using phosphoric acid. Target ~40 mL of 59 % Hโ‚ƒPOโ‚„ for the whole thing. Then strain through cheesecloth / pillowcase (no coffee filter โ€” thatโ€™s only for exports ๐Ÿ˜Ž). --- Storage Bottled in brown flip-top German beer bottles. Label: โ€œFERMAKOR FISH BASE โ€“ DORADE INCIDENT โ€“ 2025-11-06โ€ Shake before use, store dark. --- ๐ŸŒฟ Application 10 mL per 30 L barrel mid-flower as amino + micro boost. Clean N-P-Ca + enzymes, zero smell, instant uptake.

Another easy week for the chibans. I feel bad i did not include little chiban 2 in the diary. She was topped a while back and is much much smaller then her sister but her structure and growth i am pleased with. Glad i kept her now.. Number 1 is just a monster!! i cut her i have snapped and bent her but each time i come out the next day and she has just repaired whatever i have done and im sure if she could she would be holding her middle finger up at me as i walked in!! She is huge (relative to the space i have) I have never spent so much effort on past grows maintaing the perfect enviroment as i have on this grow and what it has shown me is huge.. Get this right and it seems they just do their thing.. Now she is flipped and in pre flower i am a little scared of what she will become.. Good job my tiny grow space is over 2M tall. Feeding is strange as they dont want too much. At the start of potting i mixed in ecothrive charge into the substrate and i have to say this stuff is amazing. I gave the first feed of nutes to these i think a week ago and it was a weak mix of grow and it gave them talons on the leaf tips which i took as a sign of N toxicity. So i think i could have stretched another week out of just water and beneficials. I will remember for next run. thats it really, i will be keeping an eye this week on the enviroment again as previous weeks and watching for any changes in requirements. Thanks for stopping by Happy grows Smoke one for me.. Stay safe..
