Well its another update from down under.. and things are getting better with the Caramelo. She got badly burnt from my mistake of using too strong lime sulfur spray to treat spider mites and mold issues before they could take hold. And its kinda worked. lols...the mites are still there but reduced alot in number but I was almost ready to chop her after I saw how badly burnt all her new shoots were. But Im glad I decided to wait a bit as she has recovered faster than expected and while im sure she still has issue at the root level from the rain drenching her for near on a week- she basically stunted after that and never showed much stretch at all when switching to flower-she grew maybe 15cms in height total after that so Im assuming some kind of root rot has her and any harvest will be a bonus. In saying that Im still not going to be suprised if she suddenly dies or gets badly infected with bud rot out of the blue as Im nursing her hard just to get her to this stage and in my experience a nursed plant may produce a yield but it will be weaker than its meant to be and reduced by around 50% of the yield you should have got. if she was indoor id have ripped her out after the sighs she was stunted presented and started over with a new plant. But out doors I dont have that luxury so I will nurse her thru and hope for the best but expect less than average results. Zkittles though is loving life and just LOOK at her!! When you realize she was the same size as the Caramelo when the rain hit and now look at the difference- thats why i say when you see obvious signs of stunting-rip the plant if you can and start over, it may recover but if it was serious then the plant will never show its true potential and you may think those genetics are shit. Ive never grown the Caramelo before now so if i judge it on this result I will say the genetics are shit when the plant likely had root rot from 3 weeks before even switching to flower. And the BC buds hash plant is FINALLY flowering too now. For a 90% indica it sure is taking the longest to flower. I wonder if its the old school genetics at play here-This strain been around since the 70's while the ZkittleZ is a modern hybrid so maybe the newer genetics really are all they are cracked up to be. Thats why I love doing side by side grows out doors with diff genetics and see what they can really do. You should see my mates BC hashys- lmao, he said he wanted bigger plants than last year as he got "bonsai" plants from someone else. Now he has to tie down trees that are growing over his 6ft fence!! And they only just went into flower last week. But on that note- Will update more now as things progress towards harvest. Day 30. Continuing general Hydroponics maxigro every other watering. Half the recommended dose, til 15% runoff.

Was really worried the whole time through out my grow as I am a Newbie and this was my first grow. Thanks for all the help provided by users on growndiaries. Much appreciated. Had great result from my solo cup. 12.6 grams of dried bud. Time for curing and let that smell build up. Fingers crossed will taste better but smells amazing. Zesty smell when crushed. More confident for my next grow. Hopefully will be more fun and relaxing growing.

11/3 Week 6 Watered roughly one gal each @6.5PH, Fish Sh!t 5ml - Karo 1 tps /gal Flower Girl still in the pot, no deficiencies I can see, well new ones :) Mag-Sulfur Foliar spray (Epsom Salt 1tbs/gal) on all as leaving cal-mag out this time Moved the two healthy plants to the center of the light, they can use it, the others might respond well to lower levels. 11/4 Better pics uploaded Placed Brandy on a block of coco coir to bring her canopy up to Layla's level. Moved Maggie to the corner she has a stretch going that I HOPE is ending and I dont want to set the lights to her. Watching that plant carefully Considering a PK boost watching only Layla for that as the other two ... well hell what can they tell me? 11/5 Working to getting the canopy under control with one stunted plant and another stretching like crazy. Put a block under Brandy to move her up level with Layla. Trained down Maggie this growth needs to end, it was already stressed. Still giving light pref to healthy plants. 11/6 Raised lights three clicks, increased extraction, showing some heat stress in those edges. 11/7 Good results on the heat stress curling has ended. Noticed some improvement also in the tops of Brandy and Maggie, so raised lights another couple of clicks. I have been using lemon juice as a PH UP since we went organic late last spring. Because of all the problems I have been looking into a lot of things further and found that lemon juice begins to degrade as a PH up after as little as an hour. A 6.0 PH water gallon can go to 6.5ish in 24 hours simply sitting in a dark corner in a jug. One can imagine the variances in soil. Why I dont know but I am going back to chemical PH additives post haste in fact its already done.

WEEK 8; all plants healthy and bug free buds are beginning to form . temp is at a perfect 78 degrees no complaints or concerns i'm sure this crop will last me till next year i'm hoping week 9 should show a big improvement in buds forming

Well she just keeps surprising me I thought she was close but she just keeps getting bigger and thicker and stinkier so he’ll yeah. She is getting some beastie blooms nothing else at this point.

Week 8 of Flowering. I think in 9-13 days i Harvest them. Trichomes get Browner everyday. Woche 8 der Blüte sind im Endspurt. Wahrscheinlich werden die in 9-12 tagen geerntet.

Would definitely recommend esp if you don't want to do nothing else. Because this strain will put you on the sofa making you do nothing else for the day. I smoke this after work and it sends me to sleep straight away I love it

Day 99. All 3 girls down. Wet trim . Can't wait to try them out. Scissors hash was so sweet ... 1.6 kg for wet plant is not bad too I think. Plant A should be biggest in this grow from all strains ... She has to beat 202 g. of AD. Happy Growing !!!

Went a little crazy this week but it needed it

Flowering day 11 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The first days of this week it looked really terrible for me because it was much too cold because of the unusual temperature. The heating mat has now also arrived for the big tent and lo and behold the plants have been developing really well since that day ☺️👍. The temperature doesn't keep quite as well as in the small box, but at least I don't get below 18 degrees in the pots at night anymore, even though it's only 16 at the top 😅👍. This was the last week of veg. I switched from organic nutrients to synthetic. For the pipes of the autopot. I will therefore also flush them for 2 weeks. In the first week of flowering there will be a dehumidifier in the tent to get around 50% humidity
