Week 10: Post-Transplant Recovery, Storm Shielding & DP6 Explodes! Growth Stage: Vegetative Strains: Durban Poison (DP1 DP4 DP5 DP6) ​🌿 Week Recap & Overview ​What a massive and busy week for the Durban crew. We kicked things off with a major milestone over Mother's Day weekend, executing the big transplant project to move the main Durban Poison quartet into their massive, permanent 25-gallon containers. It required mixing up a mountain of soil and some serious muscle to get all that custom 50/50 potting and organic garden soil blend ready, but the squad knocked it out perfectly. ​ Just as the girls were settling into their new shoes, the High Plains threw a classic wrench in the gears with a heavy May storm. We immediately pivoted into full frost-protection protocol. Thanks to the custom DIY furniture dollies, we were able to keep those heavy 25-gallon stations mobile. We bundled them down with sheets, lined them with hot water bottles for ambient heat, and shielded them securely from the elements. ​The strategy paid off beautifully. The plants survived the storm completely unscathed, showing incredible resilience. ​📐 Growth & Development ​The Comeback Queen (DP6): The absolute highlight of the week. DP6 has officially shed the "runt" title and undergone a massive growth spurt. She has charged right up to the front line and is now running as one of the true leaders of the pack! ​DP5: Sitting strong and vibrant at 11 inches tall. Her canopy is lush, tight, and pushing out healthy, wide fan leaves with great node spacing. ​The 25-Gallon Quartet (DP1 DP4 DP5 and DP6): Recovering beautifully from the transplant and weather stress. The root systems are already exploring their massive new footprint, and the main stalks are thickening up nicely. ​🛠️ Garden Upgrades & Routine ​Irrigation: The DIY dual-timer irrigation manifold is fully built and ready to rock. The custom-drilled hose rings are set up for individual zones, which is going to make dialing in moisture levels for those massive 25-gallon pots an absolute breeze. ​Nutrients & IPM: Sticking to the organic regimen, utilizing FOOP organic nutrients, Veg/Sweetener formulas, and sea kelp tonics to help them bounce back from transplant shock and the cold snap. I have a new light with a bloom setting hopefully that will make a nice flowering. Got a new fan for air circulation. The new light has cooling fans. Haven't noticed any burns so im happy with my order. If you look at the last few pictures my tent is home made and cheap very cheap. The lights not an expensive one but I think its fine for now.

Harvest time for the Gorilla cookies from fast buds. Grown just under a 100w ts600 from Mars hydro, this strain grew more than I expected, but cannot complain with the harvest. Now let’s dry these buds & will do a smoke report when they’re ready to 💨

Everything is moving along so nice!! 11 outta 12 are flowering . Running my lights 24 hours ! Temps around 74 and 78 . Tangie , sweet creme and gg4 are getting really frosty and starting to fill in. Ogesus number 1 is 5feet tall very impressed excited to to see what they all look like in the next month :). Very pleased with this run .

Time is not on my side as my wedding cake in the other tent is becoming a beast and I want the small tent for the rest of the flowering stage of the wedding cake . So being as its week 11 she will be getting chopped at the weekend which will be around day 77. I think its taken such a long time due to her being more sativa inclined. The grow has gone quite well with no deficiencies that i've noticed. The Humidity is also on the high side so thats another reason to get her chopped soon. I have reduced the nutrients down now for this final week and also reduced the light hours to give her the sign to hurry up lol though she finishing i think at her own pace

420 Fastbuds I will say without a doubt is my favorite. They've always made the best,most recent strains,and not to mention top notch genetics that are way above par. I've been collecting for some time now about 5yrs total and have finally completed my set of every strain they have come out with.

Week 1 Day 1 - 8/12/2023 1st Water change Day! Such a special time it is when you remove the little bit of Nutes that you gave them as an appetizer and you give them their first real meal. Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

Cant cut her down she wasnt ready when i harvested the 2 other plants. Was trying to move the 2 big buds under the light but they like it up there complet stuck and rocksolid😝 move 2 autos in the 90x90 to dry the other plants in my 60x60. I hope thy dont mind 12/12 for 1week at least they get a lot more ppfd. i give her only water.

Chopped on day 82, and dried for 8 days. Produced 27.9 grams (1 Oz) of flower. The yield isn't great, but it's my fault due to stressing and transplanting the plant. I had to fix her and by time she was back on track, the yield was severely impacted. However, the quality seems great. Now time for curing.

1/12: lots more leaf tucking today. She's taking waterings like a champ. I'm always so worried about overwatering but she seems to be growing well 1/14: did a little more lst, so she's looking a little bit like an ugly duckling. Hoping the effort plays out. Attempted to adjust some clips and accidentally broke a stem. I splinted that up with some tape... Also my attempt at a fim is growing out... She's looking a little rough right now, but honestly, aren't we all? 1/15: watered and some leaf tucking this morning. Excited for the top to not look like a hot mess! 1/17: the ugly duckling phase is strong with this one. Gave her a good watering today and attempted some leaf tucking, only sacrificing one fan leaf.
