I starved her of water for about 5 days and then watered today, put her to bed for 4 hours and then cut her down. I want more water in her roots and stems so that I can have a longer dry. Week 5 started July 24, 2022 Growth is still strong into week five, I see no pre flowering, I think that is because she started really slowly due to me getting used to this new light, etc. July 27, 2022 Smells like lime sherbet up in here. LST, light defoliation to get some light on the lower colas. Really watered in today for the first time soaking the media, she is stretching and I see maybe some hairs for pre-flower - hope not too too soon though, I'd like more height than nine inches before she fully stretched

This girl has been topped twice and is loving life. Really strong growth. She wants to stretch. She isn't far behind the amnesia. Tapering up the ferts gently as I've read she can be a bit sensitive. Hard to believe she was incredibly stressed as a young 'un.

Week 9 Day 5 Bloom now 48h darkness

The plant is ripening, leaves are turning yellow and harvest day is coming closer. Until now, I can not really say, that this strain is a " lemon Cherry Cookie ". Unfortunately I can not say, that I smell cherry, lemon or cookies. I have had other strains, which were definitely more on the lemon side or cherry, which I did not make a diary a out. Sometimes, she smells very sweet, a bit like over ripened fruit. A positive thing: her buds are really beautiful. The colour is really nice and she is not a hungry plant. Until now , I could not see any signs of mold, even though the weather is not that optimal. If you have space on your balcony and you like to see some purple bud, you could give this a try. If your liking for extraordinary terpenes, I would choose a different strain . I'm waiting for harvest, to look out for how much she will hit, on grams and effect.

I've turned down the lights again to 60%, and with the increased feeding last week, the GMO and Glookies really seem to be getting back some green where it was almost gone. The overdose in N from CalMag Agent seemed to have done the trick. Some of the lower leaves on the Glookies are already quite dark green, and since I expect to harvest (some) in 2-5 weeks, I don't want to overfeed it now. So I have reduced the CalMag Agent level again. Sour Strawberry and Acapulco Gold are unimpressed and continue to slowly fade. They have also gained a bunch of weight again, all in all it's going ok now.

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.
