Cherry Bomb is a well-loved hybrid strain, balancing the effects of Indica and Sativa perfectly. It's a cross between a North American Indica and a tropical Hawaiian Sativa, bred by Barney's Farms. Recently, rapper B-Real's brand 'Insane' also introduced a unique version of Cherry Bomb, blending Zkittlez and Cherry Pie. The cannabis community embraces Cherry Bomb for its powerful, high THC content and virtually no CBD. It’s known for making users feel focused, relaxed, and happy, with a delightful mix of berry, woody, and sweet flavors. Those who enjoy it describe the experience as smooth and pleasant, great for both recreational fun and various medical needs. Growers appreciate Cherry Bomb for its robust nature and generous yields in a moderate climate. Medicinally, it’s often used to manage pain, gastrointestinal disorders, and arthritis, offering relief with a pleasant, uplifting experience. Whether you're growing it or consuming it, Cherry Bomb delivers a memorable and well-rounded cannabis experience.

Due to the pandemic, I was unable to update this diary weekly, but I recorded the results of the harvest with some photos and only now managed to update the diary. Of two plants, one was automatic and found out in the first few weeks. Flowering went well despite the plant having to withstand a lot of heat. Happy Growing to all 🤜🤛🌲💪🙏💚

This was my first grow and this strain has been amazing to grow as it was a clear hybrid. During veg it was very short and bushy even the leaves were fatter pointing towards indinca. However after the stretch it really showed its sativa side as the leaves grew skinnier and there was a lot of stretching!

These buds grew out fat and frosty! The water cure was 100% success! The buds ended up with a mild chocolate mint flavor. After taking a hit you get an immediate strong head rush and a real sativa like high that leaves you with some energetic overall happy feeling. This weed really brightens your day. It seems like it could be great for depression and overall lack of motivation. Here is an overview of the water cure she went through... I am attempting a water cure on this cherry bomb. I have a plant drying and a few plants that will be coming down soon. I don't want to get backed up trying to keep up with trimming everything before it gets too dry. I have been seeing a lot of info on how water curing can be great IF done correctly. It is supposed to flush the buds much better than conventional medium flush and supposed to give you a much smoother smoke. The negative is it can really diminish your flavor. Since I have a nice sized harvest I figured I would find out for myself how it works. This cherry bomb is a great candidate because the buds are huge and it would take a long time to get a proper dry and cure on them normally. I chopped her down and wet trimmed the buds. I tossed them in a bucket of distilled water ( yeah, crazy I know lol) The plan is to keep the water between 65 and 70f and change the water daily for 7 days. Then they should be ready to dry and smoke. I am using a plate to hold the buds under water since they want to float. I will try to agitate the water as little as possible to minimize trichomes breaking off. Almost can't believe I am doing this, but I am committed now... let's see what happens. I will try to add progress through the week. Update. Day 4 of water cure and so it seems to be working as it should. I changed the water once a day for the first 2 days but the water looked pretty nasty so I am changing the water 2 to 3 times a day now. The dirty looking water is supposed to be normal since it is leaching chemicals, chlorophyll, and other impurities from the buds. The water has a really sweet floral aroma like fresh flowers when I change it. The buds still appear to be in great condition which is a surprise. I added a couple pictures. I have also been doing more reading on the process and these buds should end up with almost no smell and more potent since they lose more weight vs air curing. And they should end up with a really thick smooth smoke that won't make you cough. At this point I am really glad I tried it and will update again in a few days when they come out of the water. Update: after 7 days of water curing I have removed the buds from the water and layed them out on a screen to dry. I have a fan blowing directly on the buds until they get dry on the outside. Then I will remove the fan and let them finish drying. The water they were soaking in started to get a cucumber aroma the last couple days of curing. 24 hours after laying them out to dry I was surprised to see that all of the smaller buds were already completely dry and crispy! After 48 hours all of the bigger buds were dry. Amazing how fast they dried out and the bag appeal is still pretty impressive too. The buds feel really light but are still nice and dense. The smoke is extremely smooth and the potency is definitely top notch. These buds were not flushed at all before chopping them. My final thoughts on the water cure... I wouldn't use this as my go to method for curing buds because the flavor and aroma are somewhat missing. But with that being said, it does give you some great buds and the entire process took 9 days without the hassle of flushing the plant or monitoring the buds constantly. Some of these buds were about 3 inches wide so it would have taken several weeks to get them dried and cured. If you are in a situation where you need to chop them fast or don't have time for a flush then I highly recommend doing the water flush. The buds are definitely more potent than air cured bud but you do sacrifice the flavor. And you can smoke this without stinking the neighborhood up. Another notable difference is when smoking a bowl of normal bud it feels like you are just smoking plant material towards the end of the bowl with no effect. Not with this bud. You can take a hit of a bowl that is almost ashed and it feels like taking a green hit! When I set out on this water curing adventure I often asked myself "is this the result of having big balls and a little brain"?? 😂😂😂 But it all worked out great.

Was fun growing this strain it took off first then slowed down and worked its magic and had dense buds and nugs! I did stumble across roots not being all the way through my pot due to me watering wrong BUT learning process isnt it?!
