Sep 29 (day 29): Start of week 5 and looking much taller! Still healthy, new growth on some nodes.
Sep 30 (day 30): Growth overnight, getting taller with fuller leaves and node growth is getting bigger. Struggling to know when to water. I used to water twice a week, but the pot doesn't feel light enough yet so I am paranoid of over watering. She is dry on top, but I used the water meter and if I push it all the way to the bottom of the pot it reads 'wet'. Everywhere else reads 'nor' or 'dry'. She isn't showing any signs of dehydration, so I will be cautious and not water.
Oct 1 (day 31): All looks good apart from some growth on the very bottom nodes which has yellowing leaf ends. I'm not sure what it could be as everywhere else looks so healthy with none of the same symptoms. I'm going to assume its where she was watered and the leaves were wet and perhaps burnt when drying. Will look into it either way.
Oct 2 (day 32): Fed her with week 2 of the nutrient schedule at full dosage. As she has gone a week without water and seemed fine, I am upping the water to 2 litres.
Oct 3 (day 33): Looking good and huge growth overnight height wise. I wanted to leave one of my four plants without LST so I could do a yield comparison at the end. However, I think I need to rethink this strategy as she shares a light with Orla who is now much shorter after LST. The light height will become a problem now, because she is so much taller without the LST. Will have to LST her tomorrow I think, otherwise the light will become too much of a problem.
Oct 4 (day 34): Started LST which went well. Hopefully it will work well. I measured her before I started and she is now 16 inches tall! So much growth height wise. Gave her a fish mix foliar spray.
Oct 5 (day 35): End of week 5 and all in all a good week. Lots of growth height wise and on the new nodes and branches. Leaves looking big and healthy. She seemed to respond well to the first LST and is pointing upwards.
NOTE: Nutrient amount is the total amount of nutes given during the week.
Anybody know what this is at the top of my bud?! Looks like a flower?! Got so many new white pistils all over which is surprising this late into flower?! Is this why she is called white widow? ๐ค
@KingSalomonsWeed, Ah I see what you mean. Yes, I think I will move it closer, but the issue is that she shares a light with Ophelia and she is a bit taller. I'm worried if I lower it too much, it will burn the top of Ophelia. I had made a note that it should be 18 inches (45cm) above the canopy at this stage. I will lower it later, thank you!
@greenhousegrowgirl, Hi, i mean that you can put down your lamp, if possible. Because the plant than becomes more energy. I mean 30 cm is full ok on an LED light.
No probs with the brown leaves. This should be old leaves. Let them on until the plant soaked them complete brown.
Ahh and more water. You cant get root putrifaction in this air pot. Give em till they drain. Use plastik bags for saucer.
They drink more than you thought.
Overall good work.
@greenhousegrowgirl,
Hi, your Ophelia is good to go for another two weeks. She has to turn the trichomes looking down also to be milky. Btw. First glasy than milky than bigger milky, golden, amber.
You use great BioBizz products. Chill you don't need to flush.
Bio means that the plant can only can use what the soil gives her.
Just give her water. And the upper buds will first ripe, than it will go down. You have the time.... ๐ WONDERFULL PLANTS
@KingSalomonsWeed, ๐๐๐ lucky you! I have run out and won't have any until these babies are ready! Please can you take a look at my 'Ophelia' diary and let me know what you think of my new trichome photos? Do you think I am flushing at the right time with a view to harvest this weekend? The trichomes look part clear, part cloudy to me ๐
