Dec 1 (day 92): Start of week 14. Looking good, buds are getting HUGE now. Am going to start flushing her sister Orla today, but Wanda has so many white pistils, it just doesn't feel right to start yet. Dutch Passion said that the plant is ready to harvest when all the pistils are orange and they are mostly white at the moment. I will just have to keep an eye on the trichomes instead for now. As always the different buds are at different stages. They look 50% Cloudy, 50% Clear at this stage to me. High temperatures in the tent seem to have stabilised since last week and moving the extraction duct end to the other side of the room. Fed with 5L of water, week 10 of the nute schedule, microbes and calmag.
Dec 2 (day 93): All good, still fattening up nicely.
Dec 3 (day 94): Looking fine still. Not quite ready for a watering yet, but will need one tomorrow I think.
Dec 4 (day 95): Brought her up from the cellar for her watering and some of the leaves are beginning to yellow now. Looking at the trichomes, I would say its up to 80% Cloudy, 20% Clear now and a couple of ambers beginning to show up. I am going to start her flush. Gave her 9L of PH balanced water (at 6.5 PH).
Dec 5 (day 96): All good, still fattening up nicely.
Dec 6 (day 97): All good, leaves starting to yellow even more since starting the flush. Colas are getting seriously big and fat. I cant believe how much bigger she is than her sister Wendy. I know she had a calmag deficiency and everything, but SERIOUSLY the difference is HUGE!
Dec 7 (day 98): End of week 14. Looking great and still not ready for another flush yet, but will need watering tomorrow I think. Have an explosion of new white pistils on her! Cant believe she is still growing at this stage?! I guess now I have started the flush, I can keep an eye on her and harvest when I have more orange pistils, no clear trichomes and a small percentage of amber. I want them to be mainly cloudy so the THC is at a maximum. Very exciting ๐
NOTE: Nutrient amount is the total amount of nutes given during the week.
Anybody know what this is at the top of my bud?! Looks like a flower?! Got so many new white pistils all over which is surprising this late into flower?! Is this why she is called white widow? ๐ค
@KingSalomonsWeed, Ah I see what you mean. Yes, I think I will move it closer, but the issue is that she shares a light with Ophelia and she is a bit taller. I'm worried if I lower it too much, it will burn the top of Ophelia. I had made a note that it should be 18 inches (45cm) above the canopy at this stage. I will lower it later, thank you!
@greenhousegrowgirl, Hi, i mean that you can put down your lamp, if possible. Because the plant than becomes more energy. I mean 30 cm is full ok on an LED light.
No probs with the brown leaves. This should be old leaves. Let them on until the plant soaked them complete brown.
Ahh and more water. You cant get root putrifaction in this air pot. Give em till they drain. Use plastik bags for saucer.
They drink more than you thought.
Overall good work.
@greenhousegrowgirl,
Hi, your Ophelia is good to go for another two weeks. She has to turn the trichomes looking down also to be milky. Btw. First glasy than milky than bigger milky, golden, amber.
You use great BioBizz products. Chill you don't need to flush.
Bio means that the plant can only can use what the soil gives her.
Just give her water. And the upper buds will first ripe, than it will go down. You have the time.... ๐ WONDERFULL PLANTS
@KingSalomonsWeed, ๐๐๐ lucky you! I have run out and won't have any until these babies are ready! Please can you take a look at my 'Ophelia' diary and let me know what you think of my new trichome photos? Do you think I am flushing at the right time with a view to harvest this weekend? The trichomes look part clear, part cloudy to me ๐
