Really liked growing this strain. She was fairly easy to grow, which was very much welcome as it was my first time! She was also pretty hardy, but not as much as my Orange Bud (which I grew at the same time). She gets very large and the aroma is pungent. Post harvest, she has an amazing woody herbal smell.
Really enjoyed using the BioBizz products. They were pretty complicated to use as I had the entire set and I wasn't sure whether to reduce the dose for autoflowers or not. However, they did respond to my queries and gave me the direction I required. Cant give them a 5 at this stage as its my first grow and I have nothing to compare against. However, I plan to use them for further grows in the future.
I grew two White Widow plants for my first grow, 10 days apart. Wendy my first didn't harvest very much, but I learned my lessons quickly and was able to produce a MUCH bigger plant with this one. I got a really nice harvest so am very pleased ๐
Anybody know what this is at the top of my bud?! Looks like a flower?! Got so many new white pistils all over which is surprising this late into flower?! Is this why she is called white widow? ๐ค
@KingSalomonsWeed, Ah I see what you mean. Yes, I think I will move it closer, but the issue is that she shares a light with Ophelia and she is a bit taller. I'm worried if I lower it too much, it will burn the top of Ophelia. I had made a note that it should be 18 inches (45cm) above the canopy at this stage. I will lower it later, thank you!
@greenhousegrowgirl, Hi, i mean that you can put down your lamp, if possible. Because the plant than becomes more energy. I mean 30 cm is full ok on an LED light.
No probs with the brown leaves. This should be old leaves. Let them on until the plant soaked them complete brown.
Ahh and more water. You cant get root putrifaction in this air pot. Give em till they drain. Use plastik bags for saucer.
They drink more than you thought.
Overall good work.
@greenhousegrowgirl,
Hi, your Ophelia is good to go for another two weeks. She has to turn the trichomes looking down also to be milky. Btw. First glasy than milky than bigger milky, golden, amber.
You use great BioBizz products. Chill you don't need to flush.
Bio means that the plant can only can use what the soil gives her.
Just give her water. And the upper buds will first ripe, than it will go down. You have the time.... ๐ WONDERFULL PLANTS
@KingSalomonsWeed, ๐๐๐ lucky you! I have run out and won't have any until these babies are ready! Please can you take a look at my 'Ophelia' diary and let me know what you think of my new trichome photos? Do you think I am flushing at the right time with a view to harvest this weekend? The trichomes look part clear, part cloudy to me ๐
