Sep 15 (day 15): Start of week 3. She is definitely growing, but I am still worried about the amount of yellowing. As it is now the start of week 3 I can add some nutrients safely without overloading her as the soil has enough nutrients for the first 2 weeks. Fed her BioBizz nutrient schedule week 1 at 1/4 of the recommended dose. I also gave a slightly higher dose of Calmag as suggested by the community - 0.4ml/L which is 1/2 of the recommended deficiency correction dose. Bought some Leaf Coat from BioBizz to try and protect the plants, especially as Wendy had some white spots on one of her leaves. Also bought some odour remover as I am getting a weak scent now from Wendy and Ophelia. When I went into the greenhouse this morning the dehumidifier was full again and the humidity too high. I am going to need to set the drainage hose up so that the water drains out rather than goes into the tank. If its filling up this quickly overnight, I am not going to be able to empty it as soon as it gets full and the humidity will need to be even more controlled during flowering phase. I will try and do that later today.
Sep 16 (day 16): Bit of growth overnight and she is looking a bit greener and less yellow, although I could easily be imagining this via hopeful thinking! I fixed the pipe outlet to the dehumidifier yesterday and this seems to have stopped the tank filling up as the humidity was a solid 65% when I went in this morning. Odour remover is doing its job.
Sep 17 (day 17): Bit more growth overnight and she is looking OK. Leaves still seem to have that mottled look and I am still worried it might be TMV. I am going to see what the new leaves look like when they grow and see if they have the same appearance. I also need to give the Calmag and other nutes a chance to work because apparently it takes 2-3 days for them to take effect when you are using organics. Hoping to see her looking healthy by Sunday...
Sep 18 (day 18): Very noticeable growth overnight and the new fan leaves are much bigger. Whilst the current leaves donโt look too great, Iโm hoping the new leaves will be free of issues and signify she is healthy overall. Fed her 0.5L of water with BioBizz week 1 nutes at 1/2 dose.
Sep 19 (day 19): More good growth overnight and new leaves still looking healthy. Keeping fingers crossed that we are on the right track now.
Sep 20 (day 20): Wow, she seems much taller this morning! I turned the grow light off to take photos yesterday and forgot to turn it back on again like an idiot ๐ She had indirect light from Ophelia and Wendyโs one and doesnโt seem impacted, but Iโm hoping she isnโt taller due to stretching?! Ugh, the stress! New leaves are looking healthy still, so I am hoping sheโs over the worstโฆfor now!
Sep 21 (day 21): End of week 3 and looking much healthier. Leaves are growing FAST and looking healthy, so I am confident that the nutes have got her back on track and she is making up for lost time.
NOTE: Nutrient amount is the total amount of nutes given during the week.
Anybody know what this is at the top of my bud?! Looks like a flower?! Got so many new white pistils all over which is surprising this late into flower?! Is this why she is called white widow? ๐ค
@KingSalomonsWeed, Ah I see what you mean. Yes, I think I will move it closer, but the issue is that she shares a light with Ophelia and she is a bit taller. I'm worried if I lower it too much, it will burn the top of Ophelia. I had made a note that it should be 18 inches (45cm) above the canopy at this stage. I will lower it later, thank you!
@greenhousegrowgirl, Hi, i mean that you can put down your lamp, if possible. Because the plant than becomes more energy. I mean 30 cm is full ok on an LED light.
No probs with the brown leaves. This should be old leaves. Let them on until the plant soaked them complete brown.
Ahh and more water. You cant get root putrifaction in this air pot. Give em till they drain. Use plastik bags for saucer.
They drink more than you thought.
Overall good work.
@greenhousegrowgirl,
Hi, your Ophelia is good to go for another two weeks. She has to turn the trichomes looking down also to be milky. Btw. First glasy than milky than bigger milky, golden, amber.
You use great BioBizz products. Chill you don't need to flush.
Bio means that the plant can only can use what the soil gives her.
Just give her water. And the upper buds will first ripe, than it will go down. You have the time.... ๐ WONDERFULL PLANTS
@KingSalomonsWeed, ๐๐๐ lucky you! I have run out and won't have any until these babies are ready! Please can you take a look at my 'Ophelia' diary and let me know what you think of my new trichome photos? Do you think I am flushing at the right time with a view to harvest this weekend? The trichomes look part clear, part cloudy to me ๐
