How many Skunk #1 feminized can you grow under 2x600W LED in 10-11 liter smart textil pots?

That depends on the size of your tent. If there is no tent and its an open room then you need to map out the light on the ground and go from there, in general I think one 600w light can fit a 5x5 or 6x6 tent, but the light reflecting off the walls in it helps out a lot. If its in an open room I'd do aorund 6 plants under one light in a tent 9. do SOG, a grid of 2x3 or 3x3 is also the same. growdiaries.com/journal/how-to-grow-cannabis-with-sea-of-green-sog https://dutch-passion.blog/growing-cannabis-with-the-sea-of-green-sog-method/ Cheers,

For the automatic varieties (Skunk #1 Auto, Hindu Kush Auto and Pure Power Plant Auto), what is the best technique for growing under LED in terms of light time: 12/12, 18/24 or 20/24?

I do 18/6 for all autos and for all vegging photoperiods. I have never calculated my DLI, I highly doubt I'm hitting it at 40DLI per day. the suggested calculated amount cannabis needs. 12/12 is for flowering photoperiods mostly, You can grow autos under it to save more hydro but they will not be as big as they could be unless your light intensity is increased. 20/4 or 22/2 or 24/0 is not ideal to me, to much light, not enough down time. When talking about lighting times it typically follows this pattern [A]/[B] = 24hours [a]=hours on [b] = hours off a+b=24hours total or one full day I also like your break down of 18/24, 18 hours on out of 24 total but some may get confused when they know it as 18/6. Good Luck!

I cut a few stems under my autos before they started stretching. LST has been a part of the game too. As soon as Inmade that move a few days ago, plants begin to have yellow leaves Any idea of the problem?

I think it is coincidental. Lower leaves will usually begin to yellow at some point. I usually defoliate those when they are > 50% yellow. It is actually a good practice to defoliate lower leaves that don't receive great light as it promotes top growth and better airflow under the canopy. It could also be a result of a lack of nutrients but your tops look lovely so I think it's just time.

Here my biggest question for auto flowers as it’s my first auto flower session indoor… and under led lamps. Should I make some place under the plants where light cannot go ? Or have I to let the plant grow up whiteout cutting stems ?. Some won’t receive any light (see pics)

Hey there... the answer is defoliate!! Currently doing the same autoflower grow 19 plants topped and totally fan leaves removed for better light penetration to lower buds. Also lollipopped them all. They are ruderals!! Responds well to stress ;just feed accordingly. Also defoliation helps lower humidity! So go for it in weeks 4 to 6 in autos. It works great. Hope that helps.

Well this is a critical stage of the canna plants life. It’s switched from vegetative growth to transitioning to flower, to now being done with vegetative growth and completely concentrating on production of flower. This means different nutritional needs. Not sure what you’re seeing but your 3 pics in the last week look pretty healthy

You've got a phosphorus deficiency here... they needs lots more PK .. find a good PK booster and start giving it to her... the damaged leaves will not repair themselves so don't expect that - but you shouldn't see a continuation of the problem after 5 or 6 days... Good luck...

I have another new problem. One of the plant has a red stem, it seems defoliation or cutting branches could make this appear, what’s your thoughts?

Red stems, unless it's genetic (some purple strains naturally have purple stems), indicate stress of some kind. It could be that you were to exuberant with the defoliation but more likely it's the phosphorus deficiency noted in your first question..... fix that problem and this should be ok.... Good luck...

Added some Bud Boom (0-40-23) to give a kick of phosphors…. Most of plants are turning yellow and burning that’s problematic ! What’s about phosphorus with my watering ? Maybe Cal-Mg? Or even are the roots to compact on the bottom of the pot ?

3-4 plants seems to be ready for me, regarding their sizes and the brown pistils (as ai know it’s not a reference) What don you think ? Should I rinse those 3-4 plants with plain water for one week or two and harvest them before ?

Okay went thru your diary a bit more. Looking at the top your plant looks like it's been locked out. I seen in 2nd week of flower you using 4 dif bloom boosters. Way too much pal.. also a starter. And generally try to stick to the same brand of nutes you'll find they work a lot better on your ladies. Unless you've seen them work in a grow Also. There's so much foliage. Start taking a lot of that growth away. You are more than in the safe range. So, I'd start to remove all fan leafs running up an down the nodes and little ones from stems. Its time to transfer your energy to making buds and not making small fan leafs bigger. If you got any Q. Feel free to mes me or anyone who answers on here will help. Good luck

I don't understand how everyone who comments misses this and assumes it a deficiency, do people not check the diary and investigate a little You're running Skunk #1 Automatic with a flower time of 45 - 55 days, You're into week 8 of flower which is day 60 of flower going into week 9 and which is far past the recommended flower time for this particular strain, you're definitely going to see major fading in leaves at this point and dying off of leaves as well, hopefully your into the flushing period because these girls should be done, check the trycombs and if they're 80 cloudy or past that into amber chop them down congratulations You're finished...All jokes aside people don't seem to read the diaries and check to see which strain people are running and I'm surprised because there are some veteran growers here, this isn't your fault at all sometime you get caught up in the growing and forget or loss track of the information, which I did myself my last run as a veteran grower, I assumed my strain had 2 extra weeks of flower time and I went back to my notes and realized I was way off, luckily I noticed early enough to correct and all is good and you should be fine as well even if you have to flush a extra week you should be fine your trycombs will just be very amber and you'll get a good couch lock buzz...Good luck keep me posted

I defoliated my plants yesterday and i gave them some plain water (corrected to ph 6,5) …. I took 5 plants which are about to be harvested and measured the EC: it’s between 0,88 Ms and 1,17 Ms…. Quite low but plants aren’t burned that’s strange ! What do you think it’s happening?

ratios are just as important to dial in as concentration... in this case you must have something too high or too low... never assume tox or def until you assess the symptoms. They can easily overlap in many situations. Looks like either a k-deficiency or a N-deficiency... Paling from bottom up and tip in on leaf is how N-def progresses. k-def affect older leaves first, too. It will show interveinal chlorosis before necrotic spots also develop. most distinguishing sign is the leaf tips -- which burn. All the crispy leaves, i'd lean toward K - deficiency. consider what you feed and any recent changes over last couple weeks. Check pH to make sure that's not an issue... Soil has so many unkowns.. how you saw this progress will help you diagnose cause.

Strange fact soil PH is about 5…. But some with healthy plants and some with unhealthy plants…Any idea why some are in good conditions and other don’t ? What do I have to do to il the ph of the soil?

Okay. As you are in scrog. I guess u can't take them out of the net.? So soft flush or PH up your ferts/water feeds to 7..this should raise the PH. if using soil feed then you should be good for a wk to give 6.7-7ph'ed water and this should help. Good luck

Hmmmm..I'm sorry to say. They've exploded. R just about too. Your plants are gonna be full of seeds. I see all the spots. This was most likely part of the stress that keeps bringing them back..if you have a lot of plants in area. Dump that..they are deep within the bud. You can't get rid of them without spilling a boat load of pollen After the take out..clean your tent with h202 or alcohol/ethanol with a mix of water. Maybe you let it dry out a lot. If you already had hermies and then more came from deep within the bud. I'd get rid of that or put it under another light after you've taken it out of the room and dehermied her in the least ventilatied room you have. Good luck

The only 100% way to tell is by trichomes. If you like a more head high you want cloudy trichomes if you like a body high go for around 50% amber trichomes. Look at the bud not the sugar leaves. You can check this with a jewel loupe or any kind of magnifying glass over 30x . The local grow shop will have cheap ones for 10$. If that’s not possible a general idea of when to harvest is about 50% red pistils but if you Have fans blowing hard in the tent those hairs may turn red quicker before the plant is ready for harvest
