Welcome to week 3 of the Chemdog D! I transplanted the Chemdog on day 15 of veg into a 10 gallon fabric pot. I took her out of her container, sprinkled some great white myco on the roots as well as the hole, and planted her snugly into the pot. It seems she took well to the transplant as she has been growing very well and she looks very healthy. She is a bit smaller than the Lemon Orange, specifically around 5.5-6 inches in height compared to the Lemon Orange which is at 7-7.5 inches in height. Both plants are now about 24 inches below the light at full intensity. I plan on having the plants grow up into the light until I move them into the flower tent (which should be in the next week or so.) I decided to move up to 10 gallon pots because I believe they will give me better results in flower for organic growing. Having more pot space will allow for greater potential yields and having more soil will help prevent early nutrient deficiencies. This run I plan on giving a heavy dry amendment topdress of Build-a-Soil Craft Blend at around day 45, or 4 weeks of the plants being in their final containers. So far the Chemdog D has been doing great. No problems yet with the slight exception of some minor blemishes on the leaves. I hope it continues that way! Will probably top her in the next few days followed by moving her into the flower tent after that. See you next week!

What are you thoughts on the strange coloration and twisted growth on my Chemdog D's leaves? It looks like Tobacco Mosaic Virus but I'm 99% sure its not that. I am certain it is just genetics but would love to hear some opinions, especially if you've grown similar genetics.

I have been told that Chem lineage is known for having this discoloration. There are also other mosaic viruses besides TMV that could be the culprit

I run by humidifier with the calcium deposits in my water as well I think I just get lucky I don’t get the white specs…also very meticulous about cleaning all of my stuff. My issue is holding humidity even with a humidifier it’s so dry here been around 20% can only get my tent up to around 31-34…max 40% in these cold false Illinois winters. Girls are growing pretty damn good and I got the same temps. You should be good I think 👍🏼

@BeiingBreeziie, Yeah, the dust gets over everything: the walls of the tent, the wires, inside the clip fans, the plants etc so I just gave up on it. Don't feel like purchasing gallons of distilled water so I'll have to wait until I get an evaporative humidifier to replace my ultrasonic humidifier with. Its a bit of a bummer, but the plants seem to be doing just fine. 😀 The winters here are very dry and the summers are very wet, so I'll be having the opposite issue where I live very soon. Thanks for the comment and good luck!

@Brasco, Yeah, no problems really with her the whole grow! Glad it wasn't anything serious as she was a killer when finished! I would like to learn more about the Chemdog D's lineage and quirks but its seems like there's either conflicting or not enough information out there publicly. Thanks for the confirmation though friend.

I could be wrong but your leaves look like signs of sickness / virus which usually is in genetics or poor grow environment and lately 90% of the time it’s the breeders handing out infected seeds. With virus the spots / markings on leaves will over lap the stems & veins. Where a deficiency it skips over the stems and veins

@BeiingBreeziie, That's what I initially thought, but it doesn't seem that the symptoms are spreading to my other plant in the same tent. I was under the impression that viruses only really spread through clones so its worrying that seeds can do it as well. I'm pretty sure its just a mutation as I've read S1s are prone to mutation and I hope I'm right. Gunna have the clean the tent really good after harvest 😀. Thanks for the kind words as well.

Everything you seem to be doing is excellent! So I blame genetics/ breeder not caring / catching it
