Hey fellow farmers,
In the beginning of this week I ended up topping, slow her down a little bit, she recovered fast and is begging to be potted up
Should be the last week she's stuck in her little pot, she's doing great, lower leaves are starting to turn yellow ever so slightly.
The tent is almost free now, this girl will go into a 5 gallon bag with biotabs, let to grow lanky a little bit, and then i will scrog her down.
@popcornsutton, yeah unfortunately the developer of the app favors iPhones, if you have a newer iphone (I'd say 11+) the app will measure pretty accurately, as long as you have the printer paper diffuser.
I think android has to be calibrated/other developers provide presets for popular models like Samsung.
I had my hands on my buddies apogee DLI meter, my iPhone 14 and Samsung S20 and compared the results, iPhone 14 and Apogee were within margin of error (it was 3 something µmols p/s off), the Samsung was way off in the triple digits, but I was able to calibrate it with the apogee to be just as effective, but I understand that point is moot not everyone has a 200$ sensor lying around.
Edit: the accuracy of the iPhone ones do come at a one time purchase, Android is free but you get what you don't pay for.
Hi man,
Your garden looks great despite the difficulties.🌱🌞
About those fungus gnats: let the soil dry out because they like a moist environment so the larvae cannot hatch. The adult gnats you can just catch with those yellow sticky papers.
Good luck man for the rest. I hope you get over it soon. Peace
Hallo @BelgianBudtender, Unfortunately these gnats love organic material. I checked this spinosad you mentioned but I am afraid it’s not organic so your crop won’t be bio anymore but if it helps to get rid of them I can totally understand your choice. However as an organic grower I am not recommending any chemicals(this is just my own oppinion).
There is a natural way which can help if you are using a right dosage it’s called: Neem olie.

You can read on this site about it.
I hope it helps buddy.
Have a lovely day. Peace
@Qutro, I'm new to both organics and drip watering, I'm considering turning the system off for a bit and letting it all dry out, but I don't want to stress the plant more.
I did end up getting some spinosad for some thrips i saw, there's not a lot of em but I want to be safe
thanks!
@gottagrowsometime, my first thought seeing the baby leaves at like week 3, they're quite big and dark green.
I have grown tangie kush before and it was quite a different plant.
good luck with your grow
@gottagrowsometime, thanks!
I got a homemade 70x70 SCROG net I'll be using on this girl too, hope you get your seeds soon, would love some other scrogged Tangies for comparison sake!
Hey mate, how did this grow finish? 😊 We really liked your canopy and the way you were growing. Would be nice if you add the last few weeks and close it off with a harvest post mate!😎
@DutchPassion_Official,
Hey
I am sorry I ended up updating it 1 day before the deadline, life got in the way and this was actually my last grow this year, on the plus side she had some time to cure and I've been enjoying her a bunch. I got almost half a kilo of weed from 1 tiny seed!
Hope to start growing again soon, probably Strawberry Cough, I've had that one high on my list for a while and Dutch Passion never disappoints.
@gottagrowsometime, it's one of those ultrasonic misters, like the ones you find in fog fairy fountains or halloween witch cauldrons.
they're cheap
I put it in an opaque food safe containers, added some holes for the foam clone collars, then just add water and air whilst keeping the roots out of the light, I use an old pc fan to supply a very small amount of fresh air to mix with the fog.
It roots pretty fast.
Once I see the first root appearing, I add phosphorous , in my experience it massively speeds up root growth.
