Introduction - Week 01 Summary -
Ensign's log, stardate 9189.01,
Quite surprisingly, this week went by without any major issues. So far so good!
This week was seedling growth for both girls.
These girls continue to surprise me with healthy top growth. Really trying not to over-water.
Had to add support wires for both plants. These ladies are stretchy! To help a bit more, the PPFD was slightly increased.
Also throughout the week, been battling against soil mites. Did an IPM spraying which slightly helped to knock the population down. But most of all, soil dry backs helped to fix the issue.
Anyways, onwards to next week!

- [09:19]: Morning checkup!
--- Both girls are looking great!
--- A bit stretchy but I don’t mind! Going to be dialing in the light over the next few days which should reduce further stretching.
--- #2 is definitely getting a bit too lanky.
--- Plan to also take the first height readings this week.
--- Have to say that with less than a week since the beans were placed on the cotton pad, I am very happy with this grow!
--- So far so smooth!
--- Don’t F-this up! Please.
--- Steady as she grows Ensign.
- [09:23]: Filled a pump sprayer with 1 cup of distilled water.
--- While leaving the humidity domes on, misted the top soil of both EarthBoxes (about 1/2 cup each).
- [09:32]: Checked the humidifier.
--- Tank is getting low.
--- Refilled the humidifier with distilled water (~3gal) along with a bit of Hydrogen Peroxide (~35mL).

--- Both seedlings are looking nice and happy!
--- Again, a bit tall, but growing along.
- [09:23]: Filled a pump sprayer with 2 cups of distilled water.
--- While leaving the humidity domes on, misted the top soil of both EarthBoxes (about 1 cup each).
- [23:25]: Using a spray bottle, misted each grow bag and humidity dome (~10 sprays each).
--- #2 is getting a bit too tall. She can barely stand up after a misting. May need to add some sort of support soon.
- [23:28]: Checked the humidifier.

[END OF WEEK 01]
Very detailed diary. I like ur heater. Something I don't need but definitely want 1 lol..
Look forward to seen how you adapt this to pushing your grows forward.
@gottagrowsometime,
Thanks growmie! Yea, sometimes I can get a bit too detailed, but this is all just for fun!
Been using Ac Infinity's Thermoforge T3 heater for just over 2 weeks and have to say that it's the best! Highly recommend! The unit easily heats a 4x4ft grow tent along with my 10x10ft lung room. Keep in mind that it never snows where I live, but it can get pretty cold in the winter (Southern California - US). What's most impressive is that in combination with the Cloudforge T7, my overall weekly VPD averages have been a lot more stable! Also the day to night temp swings have been greatly reduced (less than 10 degrees/percent difference on the weekly temps/RH averages).
I see you're running Build-A-Soil.. Great company, products, ethics! The dude has a sweet youtube channel as well worth checking out if you haven't. Cheers good luck!
