Week 5, everything moving along well, no issues- just coasting toward the finish at this point.
- Plant looking healthy and green
- Vertical stretch has stopped and no more defoliation needed, just tucking and moving things out of the way at this point.
- Good air and light exposure to bud sites, some minor pistil darkening, buds starting to bulk up a bit more
- Resin production picking up, plant getting stickier
- Smell still pretty subdued, but present
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.0 and 764
- Plant is a bit thirstier and is wanting a slightly lower pH water to keep the medium pH at 6.0
- Feed schedule is still watering every day, 3 days of feed, 1 day of plain water, although I might slip in an extra day of feed now and then depending on what the runoff is showing
- Light measuring ~700 PPFD at the plant tops
7/15/24
- Frost development is picking up
- Buds continuing to bulk up
- Smell growing but still fairly subtle
- A couple of leaves at the very bottom of the plant that are out of the light are fading, nothing unexpected or concerning
- Medium pH continues to drift up as flower goes on, adjusting water pH down to keep it around 6.0
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.2 and 756
7/17/24
- Plant starting to get very sticky
- Scent picking up, notable notes of pine
- Buds bulking up, this should be a good yielder
- Despite the aggressive defoliation, it's still a bit thick in the middle- not going to pluck more at this point unless absolutely necessary, but making a note to go even further next time
- Continuing with watering every day, 4 days of feed, 1 day of plain water
- Runoff pH and PPM at 6.1 and 756, both values are holding pretty steady
@Realtor_Red, Thanks! Getting close to the end, and I'm pretty happy with how it's turning out. Learning some things for the next go, but this one is better than the last, so onward and upward! 😃
5/3/24
- First true leaves are out
- Humidity domes removed
- Light feeding started with General Hydroponics Flora Series
- Plant 1 looking OK
- Plant 2 bouncing back, still smaller than #1, but I'm more optimistic about it given how it looked when it emerged
- Maintaining daytime humidity in the mid 70's (F) and mid 60's (F)
- Humidity at 76% in tent
@Dabking, Thanks so much! This was a fun grow and I learned a lot along the way, I think there are some nice outcomes here. Please do stay tuned- the way Grow Diaries works, it looks like I can't add multiple weeks to document the drying and curing, but I'll keep updating this page as all of that goes along so people can see what the ultimate outcome and results are. Really looking forward to seeing how this one turns out!
@Legendaryseedthumb, Thanks very much! I think it turned out pretty well (we'll see after the dry and cure), but I also learned a lot along the way for the next one. Always trying to get better and get more knowledge. Thanks for checking out my diary!
