Grow Log – Week 8 Day 50 – 52: End of Stretching and Bud Swelling Week 8 marked the end of the stretching phase. The plants were now focusing their energy on bud production, and the buds were beginning to swell. The canopy was filled with tops, and each one was developing nicely, showing signs of a bountiful harvest. Day 51: Defoliation and Lollipop On day 51, it was time for another round of defoliation and a light lollipop. I removed some of the larger leaves and lower growth, ensuring that the plants could focus their energy on the top buds. This also improved airflow and light penetration throughout the canopy, setting the stage for even better bud development. The plants handled the defoliation and lollipop well, bouncing back quickly and continuing to thrive. Day 53: Increased Nutrients By day 53, it was time to give the plants an extra boost. I increased the nutrient levels to support their ongoing development. The plants responded well to the increased nutrients, showing no signs of nutrient burn or stress. The buds continued to swell, and the leaves remained a healthy, vibrant green. Day 54 – 56: Bud Development and Aroma As the week progressed, the tent was filling up with buds. The aroma was becoming stronger, a tantalizing hint of the potent harvest to come. A few phenotypes were showing exceptional potential, with large, dense buds that stood out among the rest. Despite not using any low-stress training (LST), the buds were already quite sizable, a testament to the genetic strength of the Sunset Sherbet strain and the careful care they’ve received. Overall Progress Week 8 was a week of significant development. The end of the stretching phase allowed the plants to concentrate on bud swelling, and the defoliation and lollipop techniques ensured that the energy was directed where it was needed most. The increased nutrients gave the plants an extra push, resulting in a tent filled with budding potential. The aroma in the grow tent was becoming more pronounced, and the sight of the swelling buds was incredibly promising. The phenotypes showing large buds were particularly exciting, hinting at a high-yield harvest. As we move into the next week, the focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions and supporting the plants as they continue to develop their buds. I’m eager to see how the buds continue to swell and mature. The progress so far has been outstanding, and the potential for a great harvest is high. This Sunset Sherbet grow is shaping up to deliver some truly impressive results.

aSeems like you filled your canopy nice with the amount of plants you have. i wouldn't worry to much about topping. i mainly do because Iim doing big plants to keep my plant count down, but if you can fill a tent with smaller plants.thatis the better/quicker way. i honestly would not even top plants if you say got a bunch of nice clones and packed them close enough
