Jan 2019 Auto Lemon & Cash Crop Auto :)

Here goes another attempt at an organic grow. Iv had a couple of harvests, nothing to write home about, but learned a lot along the way. Hoping to get much better yields this time round due to so many positive changes to my once very basic set up and my experience and confidence have both really grown!! So fingers crossed!! First grow using biobizz nutrients range. Growing in 3 gal smart pots in light mix soil with some slight amendments (worm castings, seaweed meal, lime and Epsom salts as well as some mychorrizhal fungai as well 😁 At the end of week 1 both autos looking good!! Have only been feeding biobizz root juice this week to help roots system establish well :)

Day 14 - I topped my autos (I know!) I like experimenting... DAY 10 - Early days but all looking good so far... Apart from it's been a little hot for them so I have moved light up and tried to improve my ventilation by buying a new fan with built in thermostat and speed controller to try and keep things consistent for my baby girls and keep temps under control this time around!! :) XxX

Day 21- Spotted what could be early starts of mag / Cal deficiency on two of my girls so have applied lime and Epson salts to all of them. I have checked my tap water and I will need to definitely supplement heavily when growing with biobizz in all future grows. Thought I'd share that. If growing off tap, check water contains enough cal and mag for grow. Google for institutions how to do this. very simple but good to know :) Day 17 Looking good at the beginning of 3rd week. Have just started watering till run off today as they were drying out quickly as they're getting bigger now :)

Growth really picking up now. Girls getting ready for the final stretch before flowering!! This is by a clear mile my best grow so far (early days but still... big up Biobizz Light mix, Biobizz Nutes and Mars Hydro Reflector lights :) Whoop!! :)

The girls have really sprung into flower this week!! They are looking so good!! Having some issues with humidity too high at the moment so they are spending time in my greenhouse during the day, this may be a problem in flower so If anyone has any tips for humidity and how to keep it down... It would be greatly appreciated! :) Just LSTd all the plants. Also removed light blocking fan leaves and those getting too big and taking up too much of my grow space. Looking forward to watching these ladies flower now :) please feel free to comment guys.. Not a single one on this diary I'm fairly new. and clearly extremely unpopular lol xx

Week 6... Starting to smell lovely now as we reach around the halfway mark. I am Loving growing with biobizz!! My plants look much healthier and happier :)

End Of Week 7- They are doing their final stretch now. I am really really excited about this grow as I have 4 plants this time and so far I haven't had PH Lockout OR Nute burn setting me back like I did in my first grow. Super excited to watch these lovely ladies fatten up nicely over the final weeks :) Also based on advice from much better growers with a ton of experience I will resist my strong urge to further train my babies ;) THANKS 4 ALL THE HELP AND SUPPORT GUYS!! Miss B XxX Start of Week 7.... I am super happy with how this grow is going. I feel like I actually know what I'm doing this time PMSL :) The smells are amazing. Particularly with the Auto Lemon Skunk, Everytime I open the door to my grow it hits me and makes me want a blunt right there and then Haha.. I Did a final bit of defoliation before the girls burst into full on flower mode next week!! Also Added more Lime and Epsom Salts at it's been 6 weeks since I last added to grow medium and I want to avoid calcium and magnesium deficiency. The plants looked very happy the day after adding and watering in well :)

WEEK 8, Day 1 - OK So towards the end of last week I noticed a little purplish red tint on some of my stems :/ From previous grows I am guessing this a deficiency brought on because my growing medium has ended up too acidic!! So I tested my runoff and sure enough it was coming out in the 5 range!!! This makes phosphorus, magnesium and other nutrients unavailable to the plant. So I had to act on this sign... So I have had no choice but to flush each plant with ph 6.5 water until the runoff is within the correct range. I don't want my growth and bud production slowing down so close to the end!! This is my best grow so far!! I am a little disappointed as I am growing with biobizz I was hoping, as advertised... that my ph will be buffered by the soil and phproblems wouldn't be an issue. But I think that feeding with every water is allowing a build up in the soil and this is causing the medium to be too acidic!! The Good thing is... I spotted it quickly so I could take steps to rectify!! QUESTION- Guys Can any ORGANIC GROWERS... please advise how they ph up and ph down without using chemical additives? I have citric acid which I hope is ok for ph down? but what about ph up? would baking soda do it? ANY advice much appreciated. I don't want to harm my micro herd by using chem. Based ph up and down. Week 9.) Seedsman - Auto lemon is now absolutely covered in beautifully bright and blingy trichrimes :) I am loving the amazing citrus and skunk aromas and of course, how beautiful this plant looks under the lights!! She is the smallest of my plants this grow but that's 100% my fault for the way I trained and topped an auto like this one. It was a bad idea and I wouldn't do it with a plant that doesn't get that big again. All I did was slow her down and destroy my one main cola this plant likes to produce 🙈 (again my fault, I did read this when I ordered the seeds and I shouldn't be topping autos anyway!!) but I do get carried away with myself 😅What can I say? Im a nerd who likes to see what happens when I do experiments lol 🤣🤣👍 But seriously, I will try to restrain myself in future grows though.... Promise x Cash Crop Auto - Wow wow wow. This is my biggest auto so far. Shes got LOADS of tall branches flowering from top to bottom all over her. She is stretching still and not fattening or sparkling at all yet so I will just keep feeding her my biobizz every other day and see how big she gets 😎💕 #Fun! Lastly, after much thought I have decided to split this diary into 2 diaries. It should have been done this way right from the beginning but I am a lazy stoner chick 😎 so I decided I could save a whole lot of time if I put my autos and photos on the same grow diary!! GENIUS!!!! 🤣👍😂put my 2 autos (mentioned above) on with a couple of Blueberry Twist plants I had going from the same week .. Worked great till my autos started flowering WEEKS ago and Iv Only just flipped one of my BTs and I'm keeping the other as a mother for clones. So yes it has all got a bit complicated and confusing for me, let alone anyone else so I am finally doing what I should have done in January!! Yayyy Go me!! Week 10- Auto Lemon.. This one has deffo still got more flowering time left yet. Trichromes checked again and most are cloudy with a few of them still fairly clear. NO amber yet and I can clearly see new flowers popping up all over so I will keep feeding and recheck later this week. When all trichromes are cloudy I will start flushing her. I think shes got 2-3 weeks left?! Cash Crop Auto- Stretching beautifully in full on flower mode. Colas getting bigger and she is now starting to ramp up trichrome production. Shes all blingy and beautiful. Also got a bit of smell starting this week. The Auto Lemon is way stronger smelling though. Week 11.... Auto Lemon - This little lady has almost finished the 1st week flushing. Heavey trichrome production going down at the moment as she uses up her stored nutrients. She is small but mighty lol 👍🤗. One more week of flushing till harvest 😁 Cash Crop Auto - I can hardly see any of the middle of this plant due to all the colas she has!! She is fattening up nicely now. Getting blingy under the lights as I lower the humidity slightly to increase resin production. I am checking trichromes daily but no signs to start flushing yet so I shall carry on feeding her and watching her grow 🤗💕 MissB x

NO kidding.. I think this cash crop auto could go way longer....but due to my ever growing space requirements... I decided to start the 2 weeks flush. She is huge and blingy as hell💎👌😊 I'm so so happy with how this beautiful girl turned out for me... She has now had her 1st week flush. Harvest next week... I actually Cant wait. This girl is so heavey even in a dry air pot!! I think this is going to be my best auto harvest so far and it smells heavenly!! 😊👌💕 I have taken one of the smaller bottom branches this week (About half an oz I'd say) to dry after 1 weeks flush as a sample. I wanted to experiment the differences of taste, smoothness etc with1 weeks flush vs 2 weeks flush. I Will let you guys know the results of my little flush experiment after my smoke tests. I have just sampled a bit of this Lemon Skunk. It is absolutely wicked!! Very strong head high and totally full body relaxing. Taste is great, not as lemony as I was expecting but still nice flavour and super smooth considering it's not been cured yet!! Very happy with this free seed. Liked it so much I am going to try this strain again as a stealth auto grow. Think it's a perfect strain for that. She let me top her, defoliate regularly and LST without major stress so in my opinion shes a pretty tough b**ch!! 😎 I do wish I'd not topped her as I think she may have been bigger should I have left her alone. But I'm happy with my experiment and as she was a free seed, I'm 2oz better off and had a whole load of fun with her 😃 Thanks so much for reading. Please do leave me a comment. Overall super happy with the harvest as mentioned above... I wish I could grow more but space is so tight. I Would defo love to grow this strain again!! My type of smoke for sure. Ticks all of my boxes 😉 Every grow I do seems to be improving somewhat...Which is awesome to be able to see on GD!! and look back at how far Iv come. I have been removing the roots from these two girls ready to use for my next grow and I had some new friends who have taken residence in my smart pots... WORMS!! eggs hatched from the worm castings and the conditions must have been favourable as they've been living quite happily down there ever since!! Has this happened to anyone else? I cant be the only one lol. Please let me know....
