Krisis 03/11/25. Dampened some soil, popped in seed, covered it, sprayed with water, and put a little sandwich bag over the top to keep humidity.
03/13/25. She’s just broken through and starting to raise up now. I stacked up some boxes on a table and have her underneath a lamp I put a grow bulb into. When I try under the viparspectra, I get long stems and I hate it.
3/16/25. She peaced out. No idea why. She sprouted and looked just fine. She never raised up or grew or anything since then. Today I noticed her little bend in her stem that usually straightens and then they reach toward the light- it looked all dried out and dead like. :( I’ve popped a new seed. Hopefully better luck. I popped a zookies at the same time because I popped one of those too, but it never came up.
3/20/25. Second seed came through and had seed shell stuck on. I put drops of water on it now and then and got the humidity really high in hopes she’d work it off. She did and she has reached up and made it so far.
03/24/25She’s 4 days old. Included new pictures and removed all but 1 of the original.
I’m excited af to try Slurricane from Zamnesia. I’ve grown Slurricane before, but from somewhere else. I don’t like that place, but did like the smoke. I know it’s gonna be way better from Zamnesia.
Fingers crossed that I don’t fuck it up!
My mail has been slower than a snail and then I was sick with the flu the past week. I wanted to have this going like 2 weeks ago, but here we are. It’s all working out now so that’s all that matters.
I didn’t actually add any nutrients yet, but wanted my list already here. Stupid diary wouldn’t let me save with zeros as amounts lol.
Let’s freakin goooooo
✌️✌️✌️
Get them here-https://www.zamnesia.com/us/11177-zamnesia-seeds-slurricane.html
Slurricane seeds quickly produce robust, stable plants with excellent structure. Vegging Slurricane specimens exhibit thick stems with large, deep green fan leaves and tightly spaced nodes. They make ideal candidates for training, thanks to their resilience and thick canopy. Once in bloom, Slurricane plants stretch considerably, almost doubling in size and reaching max heights of 4 ft indoors and 5 ft outside. The plants will grow heavy with thick, frosty flowers that develop deep green and purple calyxes and bright orange pistils. On average, this sexy US indica can yield up to 13 oz/yd² inside after a flowering time of 8–9 weeks or up to 23 oz/plant outdoors in mid-October. Grow her in ScrOG or SOG for the best results and even heavier harvests.
Crack the lid off your curing jars and try to stop yourself from drooling—Slurricane produces dense, frosty, and fragrant flowers that leave even veteran smokers antsy for a taste! After curing, Slurricane buds preserve a rock-hard structure with frosty trichomes coating the inside and outside of every flower. The aromas are sweet and spicy, with clear notes of berries. And with 28% potency, Slurricane produces heavy-handed effects. Light her up in the evening and enjoy as she numbs your body and elevates your mind before sending you off to dreamland.

Krisis 03/28/25. She’s 8 days old today
Not too much excitement or things to talk about yet. I think the shell being stuck on her originally almost took her out. Her stem was turning a reddish color where the bend was near the shell. You can see in the picture I included that it’s down at the bottom now and still looks a bit weird. I think it was trying to die off at that marking.
Luckily I was able to help get the shell off before it was too long of a time I guess. I kept putting droplets of water on the shell and then sprayed the inside of a sandwich bag and put it over her pot to raise humidity. I did that in hopes the moisture would help her slide out of it.
It mostly worked and loosened it enough that I was able to use toothpicks to get it easily off the rest of the way.
Anyhow, I think this slowed her down temporarily, but she’s moving along now it seems. Hopefully we stay that way.
No nutrients- just watered her well yesterday.. like full pot saturation. Before that I just gave her some sprays of water around where she was growing.
She’s under a little low wattage grow bulb, about 7 inches away. I like to start little ones under there because they seem to stretch less for some odd reason. I also know it’s more gentle and less likely to cause problems with the tiny ones.
I also have a toothpick there as you can see. It’s doing nothing actually. She’s standing on her own. It was there from the first few days with issues. She fell over a bit so I used it to prop her up. It’s there as a just in case now.
That’s about it for her this update. ✌️✌️

Krisis 04/04/25.
I’m extra time pressed and a day late.
Long story short that I hate to do but- She was going along real well and she’s not doing so great now.
I pulled a dumb ass move and reused soil and I think she’s suffering because of it. The same is across board right now. All plants in the soil are not having a good time.
Her little leaves .. well look at the pictures. She’s grown okay, but she’s having leaf issues within the past couple days which look ph related. Seeing the same exact crap in other plants in the same reused soil.
I think the soil is acidic af.
I’m going to try to put her into fresh new UNUSED soil and hope she makes a comeback. Ugh.
Update- 04/08/25- she’s been transplanted into nice fresh new soil and a much bigger pot. Didn’t wanna go so drastic atm but whatever. Let’s hope I don’t overwater hahah. Oh added pictures. It’s crazy but she instantly looked happier. :D

Krisis 04/15/25. Week 3
Usually I start on the first day of the plants new week, but .. well.. shit happens. So, we’re like mid way into it.
Bet you thought I didn’t update cause things got worse huh? That actually wouldn’t be shocking, but naw. She’s doin fine now.
So last update she had to be transplanted because she was looking like hell from what I suspected to be evil soil.
Must’ve been it. She stalled out for a couple days and her next set of leaves also started to look like shit. I didn’t panic and do anything. I figured it was just residuals from the prior soil, and hopefully it would stop progressing.
The trouble seemed to have stopped on those leaves and now new growth isn’t showing nasty brown necrotic looking bs. Yay 😀 😀. She has suddenly shot up in height a bunch and is a bit lanky now. Don’t really love that but it’ll be okay.
She had been under her little grow bulb and I guess I didn’t realize it was time to graduate to the viparspectra. So she’s packing her bags and moving today. Plus.. she has some new friends that need it more than her.
Since the soil was now new and fresh I didn’t feed her anything. So she hasn’t been fed at all yet. Not even calcium. Like zero. On her next watering I believe I will be giving her some calcium though because it does seem to be a usual issue/deficiency around here.
Wellp that does it for now. Thanks for lookin
Oh and I kept the toothpick there for you Natrona 😹

Krisis 04/24/25. Couple days into week 4.
What a difference from one update to the next.
She is so much happier now and doing quite well in her change of home. She may be slightly behind because of the bump in the road, but we’re making good progress.
Haven’t given her any straight up grow nutrients at all. Gave her some water with kelp and calmag a couple days ago. No set amount. Just wet the top of the soil and then come back and repeat about every ten minutes until I see some run off.
Speaking of water- she’ll get a watering today, with kelp again, no calmag.
She’s been topped and also since she was getting a bit lanky, I bent her main stem a bit and put a clip on it. Can be seen in pictures.
She’s sitting 15 inches from the 100w dimmed to 75%. I know.. I know.. seems close and high intensity. Well.. the node spacing is telling me it’s not even enough lol. Defective ass light. 😂
I’m starting to see a few roots coming to the holes at the bottom of the pot. No idea why so fast. She was just transplanted. Guess she’ll be meeting her final pot sooner than I thought.
I’ll be doing some more training on her now that she’s doing a bit of branching. I’ll also most likely top her again as well.
Anyhow, that’s bout it for this update.

Krisis 05/01/25. She’s 5 weeks old today.
Wound up transplanting her a few days ago into a 5 gallon pot. Her roots really went wild and fast. She was only in her 1 gallon like a week. WTH.
Anyhow she’s dark af in color as if she’s way overfed with nitrogen.. but I haven’t given her anything but some kelp here and there and then calmag once I believe.
I did add DTE 4-4-4 into the soil as well as Gaia green bloom. I think that was a fuck up.. I should have added it later apparently. Oops.
I don’t think this has anything to do with her coloring, as this was just recently, and it takes time to get broken down or whatever.
Oh, I also added mykos to the hole when I transplanted her.
I have also topped her again and trained her a bit before the pictures and you can see she still needed some more again, which I did after these pictures, and will include as the last picture.
I’m just watering with plain water for right now.. and trying to get the hang of keeping moist for microbes… I’m used to letting things get a bit drier in between waterings. Hoping I don’t wind up overwatering.
Time will tell..
Sweet, great choice.
Saw u did the one before , see how they compare!! I've done one from In house a while back definitely a great smoke!!
Best if luck with her !!
Hopefully she pans out well, them roots really growing for u too! Slurricanes one of my favorites by In house genetics curious how Zamnesias will turn out!! But hoping she goes well for u!!
@Sour_D, Really? Well I think we know something you need to grow soon then! It’s freaking delicious. It’s straight up smells and tastes like candy. Like I know lots of things are described that way .. but no. THIS is the one. Also gassy af and loud but somehow smooth
