Got the canuck puk for a great price. Testing the seeds in soil debate. I'm using fox farm ocean forest with added perlite. I flushed it with R.O water just once before placing seeds in. I put cheese and blueberry in jiffy pods just in case the soil was to hot and fried the other plants. Seeds were soaked in R.O. water for 18 hours prior to planting. Trying to keep things simple this time around, soil, water, light and little else. I add a little calmag to the R.O. water throughout the grow just to prevent any deficiencies. My local tap water is terrible for cannabis. Minimal pruning and not training at all. Also keeping the veg period short and the pots small to control size. Sort of like a sea of green but I didn't pack the tent.
At day 76 for flowering and still not ripe, is this normal for cheese and gorilla strains in soil? Or am I counting wrong? Do I start counting from the flip? Or from when you start seeing pistils?
Every grow is different and like all strains there are different pheno types so it's always best to use a jeweller loupe to verify and find out for sure.
Hi! Start count when flip to 12/12. It's normal phenotype differences.. Some might get ready bit earlier. Hope this helps out. Happy harvest! Hehe I'm sure it's gonna be looks good 👌
Hi @indoorontario! 10 week into flowering is a common thing, and many environmental factors could impact the duration of the late flowering stage. They are close from being ready, but you don't want to rush anything. As always with home growing, patience is the key 😎 You did a great job, keep us updated on the harvest and happy growing! 👊
