27/7: landing day for the beans. Not much to write about at the moment except I'm currently presoaking them in water in warm dark place until they have sank.
28/7: the beans have all sunk when i checked this morning, so i have put the beans between 2 damp cotton face pads and put in my heated propergater till they crack and flashed a bit of taproot.
29/7: 4 of 6 have cracked their shells this morning, and 1 is showing some taproot, will re-check later today to see if there's any more progress on them, if so i shall home them in the root riots and pop them back in the prop.
30/7: all six showing some root this morning so i have popped them in the root riots and back into the prop to stew a little.
31/7: i have some early risers, 4 of the 6 have come above ground, will keep them where they are for now and keep them hydrated until they shoot more root.
1/8: all of them above ground now so i have now potted them into their final pots which are roughly between 3 and 5 litres and have been potted into basic compost mix.
@Thema420, When I get long stems I transplant and bury stem to the infantile leaves. I do it while still tender so the stem can root. Don’t know if right but been doing my tomatoes like that for 40 yrs. Autos don’t like transplant though.
@phlstvns, awesome by all means give it go, i did it on mine for about a week and then took them off to let them to get blown about a bit by the fan so they didnt get too damp. also give the inside of the cup a little mist. Good luck on your grow 🌱💚✊
@phlstvns, to bring up the relative humidity and temp during the early stages as seedlings to help them grow better. Though in reality the domes are only clear 18oz cup with a few holes in ( i macguyvered it as its better for my budget).
