10/8: happy monday growmies, has been a very hot weekend and today doesn't seem much different. All the sprouts have had a growth spurt in terms of their leaf size and a bit in height. Just trying to keep them hydrated as the temps are drying the soil up faster so i have upped their water to accommodate. #5 was the early developer first 2 weeks but now they have all caught upto her so they are all looking pretty good at the moment.
11/8: pretty much the same as yesterday's endeavours, all looking healthy, #5 slightly leading the pack.
12/8: temps seem a little cooler today, but trying to keep the room under 30° is a right task at the moment, just gotta keep supplying a cool circulating air going. If worst comes to worst then i will have to macguyver a ghetto air cooler together.
13/8: well yesterday's temps got pretty high but luckily we had some thunderstorms which has brought todays temperatures down a few degrees which is alot more manageable. Todays full of the usual watering and keeping an eye on temps.
14/8: temps cooler today but the humidity has shot up outdoors. Room is at 26°c and 60%rh.
@Thema420, When I get long stems I transplant and bury stem to the infantile leaves. I do it while still tender so the stem can root. Don’t know if right but been doing my tomatoes like that for 40 yrs. Autos don’t like transplant though.
@phlstvns, awesome by all means give it go, i did it on mine for about a week and then took them off to let them to get blown about a bit by the fan so they didnt get too damp. also give the inside of the cup a little mist. Good luck on your grow 🌱💚✊
@phlstvns, to bring up the relative humidity and temp during the early stages as seedlings to help them grow better. Though in reality the domes are only clear 18oz cup with a few holes in ( i macguyvered it as its better for my budget).
