28/9: Hey peeps things are definitely starting to get colder here so i have a tube heater supplementing heat after lights off other then that I havent seen much noticeable growth since the cold hit last week. Temps 22c r.h.50%
29/9: not a happy bunny today, as when I checked the 'girls' I come to find another 2 plant have fucking gone herm. I was excited for doing this competition but I am ever loosing hope of this grow. Who wants to put 10 weeks into growing 6 feminised seeds when the seeds are not of good quality, went from 6 to 5 from seedling being to weak damped off and died, I accept this and move on. then my #5 turns herm which is the biggest of the bunch, I think ok maybe we got an unlucky one. And a week later 2 more have hermed even after separation from the room. Feels like a big waste of time growing these seeds now having 2 of the worst of the 5 being all I have left and I personally think this is just a matter of time before they go herm too. Waste of 10 nearly 11 weeks i will not be getting this seedbanks seeds again until they stabilise their genetics. Never had this problem with seeds until now and just before I have to go into hospital.. great. Probably all be herm when I get back. So at this point I'm not going to post anymore until I'm out of hospital but at this point I feel mugged off.
@Thema420, When I get long stems I transplant and bury stem to the infantile leaves. I do it while still tender so the stem can root. Don’t know if right but been doing my tomatoes like that for 40 yrs. Autos don’t like transplant though.
@phlstvns, awesome by all means give it go, i did it on mine for about a week and then took them off to let them to get blown about a bit by the fan so they didnt get too damp. also give the inside of the cup a little mist. Good luck on your grow 🌱💚✊
@phlstvns, to bring up the relative humidity and temp during the early stages as seedlings to help them grow better. Though in reality the domes are only clear 18oz cup with a few holes in ( i macguyvered it as its better for my budget).
