๐Ive been anticipating the plant to be in high gear in the flowering stretch. It has gained a couple of inches in height and a little around the middle, but significant stretch. That isn't necessarily a bad thing. Its tent mate is in a smaller pot and it has over taken the Crystal Candy by 4 inches. Several things may be part of this...it just hasn't happened yet, my intentional reduction of nutrient solution strength to address N excess, and my pruning of secondary branches and leaves inside the dome of green leaves. The N excess seems to have been abated and the plant is looking great overall. Lots of healthy leaves soaking up the food (light rays). The flowers are starting to form up nicely and look like they will me the typical pine cone associated with indica (in my mind). The aroma is also growing and is just the typical Irish Stink Weed aroma. The run-off has been consistently low as I continue to give more than enough volume of nutrient solution to get up to 50% run-off. The pH has also stayed in the 5.5-6.2 range and has actually settled in to about 5.9 average. I am hoping this will help mitigate some of the possible issues the undersized pot can cause or enhance. I have gone to week 7 "mid Bloom" on the mix chart, with no adjustments to the mix. I will do a full irrigation rinse in the next day or two as part of the routine to keep the media in balance.
@@FirstCough, I appreciate your kind words. It's really hard to see the full size of the colas because of all the leaves. The buds are getting plump. The Queen cola is going to be a beauty...as long as luck is on my side.
Plant looks great. I like her shape it looks happy. I was gonna ask about the tennis balls too but gussed you would have been asked already๐. Just had to scroll down a bit.. Good luck for the rest of your grow.๐
Wow! Your plants are huge ๐ I already chopped mine yesterday, these plants just wanna flower forever it seems. I was finding new herms every day so I decided to end it, even though there was still a lot of new growth. Interested in seeing your results ๐
@FrogLord, Thanks! I think the stress that was causing the hermed calixes was the reluctance of the trichomes to mature to mostly cloudy. What's also odd about this plant is that it didn't start the new calix growth until it's tent mate was harvested...as if it was devastated that it's lifelong partner was killed. ๐ฟ ๐ท
Looking good mate. I love that raised up grill tray tennis balls. Iโve thought about doing the same sort of thing ages ago itโs so simple, I should think it would be quite tricky to remove when itโs bigger for maintenance but well worth a try good luck mate.
@nelly31, Thanks! The tennis balls are to keep the rack from poking holes in the floor of the tent. They also make it easier to slide the plant around. I don't have to remove my plant from the tent, but if I did the rack also would make it easier to pick up.
Thank you very much for trusting our strains, and sharing your experience.
And thank you very much again for the score of 8 out of 10!! ๐๐โค๏ธ
We hope you enjoy the harvest ๐
Sweet smokes!

@Smokwiri, wow such a hollow gesture. Am I supposed to be excited that you've spammed mine and hundreds of other diaries with the same crap? I'm not honored or impressed. ๐
