@AdmiralAckbar, read the fine print, Anytime you upload anything to this site you give them an exclusive unlimited right of access with zero royalties to them and their 3rd parties. Your still own it, but they can use it for w/e they want. They don't need you to put it in a contest before they can use it.

@Grnthume, The winner are not finalized. One other thing to note about GrowDiaries is that if a contest runs out of time or it has an error, it tends to automatically assign winners with the gold banners but they are not official or valid, Its just the web pages programming erros and a side effect of GD not picking winners in time. Only when the trophy is on the persons wall and when the number is assigned inside the gold banners on the contest page is it official. Take a look at DOTM for July for an example of what I'm talking about. growdiaries.com/giveaways/diary-of-the-Month-july-2023 You can see the number 1-10 on the far left of the gold banner winners, and if you look on that persons profile and in their diary, it is registering a trophy saying it won in that contest. Keep joining as many contests as you can, some contests you can only join once with a diary then its locked out from future contests of the same type, this is how DOTM works.. other contests you can join with the same diary over and over like photo of the month POTM or meme of the month MOTM. most brand sponsored contests that are outside of the regular monthly reoccurring ones are specific to their rules, almost always its their brands of seeds/nutrients/products only and age of diary does not normally play a role. @m0use,thank you. Hopefully next month I can join a competition. I just don’t like how they want you to tag them on a social media site. I really don’t want everyone knowing that I grow. I feel like it makes me a target. Do actually people pick the winners or is it a random computer thing that picks? I don’t want to bad mouth anyones grow but I don’t agree with the winners.
