2 different strains in my first grow?

Hey guys -- getting ready to start my first grow (3'x3' tent, LED, soil) and I'd like to shoot for 4 plants. I have seeds for two different strains. I'd like to go 2 of each, but I'm wondering if that's too much complexity for my first time. Any advice would be appreciated!

Hey friend, Do you have any plans for how big you want the plants to get? Pot sizes...3/5/7 gallon? Also the blueberry obama is a limited strain...so it might be good to grow 1 of that and just makes some clones if you like it, to not go through all the seeds quick. I would personally opt for 2 larger plants versus 4 smaller ones... possibly 2 with a 7 gallon pot? The end harvest might be bigger, give you time to practice some of the basics, transplanting/training/cloning. And sometimes handling 2 plants can be a fair amount of work, and more plants even more so. But if you have heart set on 4, I'd go with 3 or 5 gallon pots and keep the veg time down to 6-8 weeks with some topping and lst. Good luck with the 1st grow, always an exciting time regardless of which way you chose. *but definitely snag a clone of each plant and label them, that way you can keep the best ones.✌️

There is no problem growing multiple cannabis genetics but it add complexity. To acquire knowledge and get good/stable result its best to get more intimate with some genetics. In the long term you will accumulate experience and improve your understanding. In a small space it can be usefull to have consistency in the size / shape of the plants. If you had mutiple genetics, you get multiple size and shape to deal with.

Hi mate! Like the others said before me, just go for it! Just remember that different strains has different needs for nutes so you might need to make different nute mix for both strains but I think you will learn twice as fast when you grow different strains. Also stress tolerance and environmental needs might be little different but im general of you maintain good humid environment for them they should both be happy!

Hello.. Hope you are well.. I dont see why u cudnt put 4 plants in a 3x3 tent wit led n soil.. As long as u love n care for ur plants and dont over expect on ur 1st grow then u cud get sum great results if ur patience is gud.. Dont b scared to make mistakes cuz we've all killed plants at sum point from many different mistakes.. My advice - just go for it.. Its the only way u'll learn by practically doin it.. Stay safe n gud luck on ur 1st growing experience.. 👍🍀🤞

Go for it! Ive been growing 2 strains at a time(even did 4 strains once) since my 2nd grow and really haven't had any issues. If 1 plant seems to be getting taller than the other be a little more aggressive with bending and tying it down so it stays the same height. 4 plants in a 3x3 is very doable, just don't veg for too long or they will outgrow the space.
