burnoutdevstarted grow question 5 years ago
I have two autos and one of them is dense and with big leaves. Both of them had light stress, transplant shock, nutrient deficiencies, its my first grow and thats why they are smaller than they should be, Its week 5, onset of flowering and should I defoliate dense one?

Have you done LST yet? If not then do LST this week and defoliate next. If you have started LST already you should be able to start defoliation, but do it very lightly, 2 leaves in a day or something. Be gentle and don't shock the plant

LST at first to make room and separate nodes. Then defoliate for the light to go straight to branches and cut the leaves that are blocking it. You should do LST and defoliate a little, every time.

On right one I tried LST to make sure every bud site sees the light because she's tall and there are longer stems. On left one, I can't do LST, because she's dense and cannot move stems and just tried tucking in some leaves.
