My plants started flowering (they are autoflower). How long does flowering take? They seem too small? (16l pots) 80x80cm space - for size reference. As you see i did a lot of LST, so they created a lot of branches, do i have ti tie them down more, or should i leave them?

Hello @Bronhitis ! Usually they flower for about 6-8 weeks but it really depends on the strain and yes they are a bit small but they are very healthy. They are small not because of the training and i really don't understand why people say such things. This is usually happening from bad watering (i have worked at so many gardens and seen so many tiny yet healthy autoflowers ). If they were developed at their full potential you woudn't be able to fit 4 plants at 80x80 cm tent. Anyway now it is what it is. I would now stop training them in order to create some nice colas. Happy growing ! šŸ‘Š

Hi @Bronhitis! Well, autoflowering strains just don't like hardcore training, like bending the way you did. It would have been great with regular strains, but it will slow down the growth for autos and you'll loose some hypothetical yield. Now about your schedule, breeder says 10 weeks from seed to harvest, but as always this is in a perfect environment without any specific surgery such as topping/bending.. Your plants had to recover every time you cut a part or bent a stem, so I think you will have to push to week 12 or 13 to get your buds ready. Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing šŸ‘Š

Well, your Lst looks good. and they will have from 6 to 8 weeks flowering. they will stretch a lot you will see. I dont think that they are to small, its ok giving her one more week of bending and then let go. I did that year my first LSt and the effects are great even to automatics.. Fell free to look. happy Growing

Ya man, The strain you grow takes 10 weeks to grow so you are about half way there- always check with the breeder when you buy seeds. Your plants will still stretch for 2-3 weeks and build flower sites- i personally stop training at the end of week 2 FLO (depending on the stretch) and let them gain height for bigger buds Best luck

hey Bronhi ! i had the same as you check my summer grow. basically what i noticed is that you do want loads of branches because it's gonna increase your yield in the long run. but the thing is if you LST at this stage in the flower it will somehow stunt your secondary bud spots - at least that's what happened to me. so how long will this take... evidently 2 to 3 weeks longer than what the breeder said haha... good news is you already started flowering so i would say you've got until week 10 week 11 harvest. good luck !

On average flowering for autos seems to average around 6-8 weeks depending on the strain. I know that doesn't match up with what most breeders advertise, especially after adding 4-6 weeks in veg. But that's how long they typically take for me. Hope this helps. Good luck! šŸ‘
