I am just curious as to what grow light is best. Obv everyone has their own opinion as to which and why. I am just trying to get input before I buy one.

How much are you investing? LEDs cost alot more than HPS or MH (both HIDs). HIDs give out alot of heat, ALOT. But when used correctly, they give alot of dope too. COB led in full spectrum is probably the best way to go if price isnt an issue. Check out my diary growdiaries.com/diaries/62572-royal-queen-seeds-green-gelato-grow-journal-by-ganjalab you can see both in action, leds and hps. Btw, check out LEC, light emitting cheramic too. Ive heard good things.

TBH it is more preference than anything. Just make sure its full spectrum and you'll be good to go.

I recommend a Full spectrum cob light style. Imo they seem to be the best led type atm. Hopefully this helps! Happy Growing!🤟😜

Lights led vs hps cooltube Hi how are we fellow growers, here is my query, am using 2 hps 600watt cooltube in a 1x2x2 growtent,notice cold grow spots out of direct light, am I better using 3 400 watt cooltube, or changing to led, again looking full even coverage over entire area.

Light Burn? Mars Hydro TS3000 at 30% Power, 26 inches away per manual. I have since raised back to 30 inches.Is this light burn? I noticed some slight yellowing/crispy looking leaf at day 11. Light is about 30% Power, about 30 inches away. I previously had it about 26 inches and raised when I noticed this issue about 24 hrs ago. Pics are updated. Temps: 70-75 RH: 50-60 Soil Runoff: 6.5

Hi there, I currently have 9 1 day old Auto seedlings under a 400w FL lamp with 2 broken outputs so its really running at 300w, which is 18" away from the seedling I also have a 600W Kind LED and I'm wondering if I should replace the broken FL lamp with the LED? Thanks in advance

Right lighting at day 6 - fluo or HI as both available Right lighting at day 6? Very happy that all germination looking good on day 6 from seed. I could either continue with this compact fluorescent bulb (15 cm from tiny first leaf) for another week or two OR switch to full HI 250w immediately (30cm from plant) Thanks!

I already have 2 fans and the exhaust running at maximum level; it looks like the ladies are standing in an autumn storm. On the ground, it's 24.5 degrees Celsius.
