Portable ac units are hit and miss. Google search the reviews. if its not good enough for a big room, its probably fine for a tent

They are pretty much mini swamp coolers.. They will throw a ton of humidity into your room.. could be good in the seedling / veg stage but not in the flower.. 👊

What size tent are you cooling and what’s the BTU of A/C unit 8000-10000 BTU will handle 550-750 sq ft with no problem. Just make sure to install drain hose for continuous run.
