Trim side shoots @ week 3 flower?

I plan to do a final defoliation at the start of week 3 flowering. Lots of side shoots growing from the branches, should I snip those off during this final defoliation or will they produce decent buds? 4-way LST, 2 1/2’ diameter canopy

Hey Growmie, I normally remove them when I do a final defoliation, they always end up making popcorn buds, and once you remove them the plant focus it's energy on my making the main colas bigger. Hopefully, this was helpful and remember ..."Happy Growing" and "Free your mind one puff at a time"

If they are very very skiny and don't look like they will break the canopy snip them imo or leave some for bubble hash or butter.. 👊

Show I cut main stem?Should I get rid of the main stem and just grow the surrounding bud sites? The main stem is getting too tall compared to the other stems so thinking I have to do something to help them catch up? Or just cut the main stem entirely? Finished 1st week of 12 12 tonight.

Should I defoliate more then I did?Should I defoliate more then I did? I went to the second and third leaf on all mains. Kinda thinking Id leave more of the smaller stuff on the lower but I think I did an ok job with LST and Topping to keep the bottoms pretty cleanish. Plant 2 maybe more from the FIMMED top?

I have this diaried for harvest 2nd week of August, based on breeder data (65-70 days flowering time). I turned to flowering light cycle 47 days ago. I read somewhere that breeder flowering time starts post stretch, so I added 14 days. Have I calculated this right?

Found my problem, ph at rootzone was around 5.6 for all plants and the ppm was 600-1000. Very disappointed in Fox Farms happy frog, that is way too hot. I ammended my top layer of soil with 3 tbsp per pot watered in heavily. When should i see results?
