It's brutally hot with us and the plant looks like it wants water? Can I water the soil on the edge of pot watering without hurting the plant?

Id recommend giving them some water if its that hot. They are wilting slightly due to the heat, So maybe a small fan on low speed if you can.

Did I need to size up to larger rockwool cubes?Geminated seeds in 1x1x1 rockwool cubes. End state is to be in 5 gallon buckets with 8" net pot and clay pebbles. I figured the roots are too small to reach all the way into water solution still so put small cubes into 4x4x4 rockwool. Did I need to use larger cubes?4y ago

I brought in a bin of my vegetable garden soil from last season. Very nice stuff - worms and organics, I ran some water through it ph 6.57 runoff.
** The only thing I am concerned about is these little sacs of spores or pollen ( not sure ) **

Adjusting Soil pHBiobizz Lightmix is the only soil I could see 6.5 that's why I use it but this time I measure it's 7 my question how come does it happen even though the water it's been getting was no more than 5.8 all the time?

Optimal pH for solution, when growing in 70% Promix BX, 30% perlite.I'm having trouble finding reliable info regarding what to pH my nute solution to, I read that some like to look at it as hydro (technically soilless), and others view it as soil (due to being preloaded). Soil recommendation? Typically use Fox Farms Happy Frog but price keeps going up and quality seems much lower, lots of sticks, not mixed well etcIs there any soil recommendations anyone can make that are good but a less pricey? Dont get me wrong, I love Fox Farm’s, and 38/bag isnt terrible. I’m just curious if anyone has found a more mainstream soil that’s as good of soil.
