Loupes and other magnification devices

There are some that clip onto the iphone camera that are handy because the camera automatically focuses on the trichs.

I absolutely use loupes, macro lenses with a good camera, and even a microscope. One of the nicer things about cannabis plants is how amazing and differents the subjects can be if you love to photograph them. Your plant is looking "too young/too green" for harvest, pistils (hairs) are still white so not even browning of pistils, and trichomes cannot be seen but they will turn eventually amber and you will see the shading difference.
