Lightning timeline for auto flowers under LED

I do 18/6 for all autos and for all vegging photoperiods. I have never calculated my DLI, I highly doubt I'm hitting it at 40DLI per day. the suggested calculated amount cannabis needs. 12/12 is for flowering photoperiods mostly, You can grow autos under it to save more hydro but they will not be as big as they could be unless your light intensity is increased. 20/4 or 22/2 or 24/0 is not ideal to me, to much light, not enough down time. When talking about lighting times it typically follows this pattern [A]/[B] = 24hours [a]=hours on [b] = hours off a+b=24hours total or one full day I also like your break down of 18/24, 18 hours on out of 24 total but some may get confused when they know it as 18/6.
